Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer, Oil Controlling

I purchased this product for my son, and he tells me EVERY DAY that it feels good when he applies it and that it works very well. Because of the economy we haven't been able to buy the “Big Name Brand” of cosmetics that we used to buy, but THIS product works great and is affordable on my budget. I'm going to check other products Hard Candy offers. Thank you so much!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Face Primer is fragrance free which I liked. I only needed a small amount to cover my face and neck, after applying this primer it left my face feeling very soft and smooth. My foundation went on more smoothly after using the Hard Candy Primer and left my face with a matte finish-no shiny or glitter finish which I liked since I have mature skin. My pores seemed diminished as well as the fine lines which is why I use a primer. I've used plenty of different primers and Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer has all the elements I look for in a primer.

I've actually bought other brands of primer before such as Elf. I enjoy this product much more than the other brand. It kept my face matte which was great. The other brand made my face oily. I've now been using it since I received it everyday before putting on my makeup and I can say that I most certainly will be purchasing again. Very wonderful product.

I first put the product on the back of my hand so I could see how it feels to the skin and how it looks. It's a cream that has a clean smell and when applied the has a translucent look. When I applied my foundation on top on it, it gave a matte look which works for my oily skin.

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Face Primer works well to smooth skin and hide any shiny areas. The mattifying effect helps keep shine from getting through any makeup you put over it. It wears well under product I applied over it and is overall a nice face primer.

I can honestly say I liked it but it wasn't the best mattifying face primer. I have oily to combination skin type and it's very hard to keep my face mattified for more than 8hrs. Hard candy sheer envy mattifying face primer kept my face mattified for about 4-5hrs.

The Hard Candy Envy Mattifyi g Face Primer feels really good on the face the texture feels air light the only thing is it felt just a little greasy on me but that went away as I applied the makeup it lasted me quite awhile so I'm very content about that. I definitely plan to get another one once I run out it hid my pores really good and that for me is elemental

I received a sample of this product in exchange for an objective review. Oddly enough I had purchased a small sample at Walmart prior to receiving the complimentary sample. It is an okay primer for the price point. If you are looking for an inexpensive primer then this is a good choice. I have very oily skin, so it is very hard to judge a primer that claims it is mattifying. It made my face matte for a short period of time, but then the oiliness inevitably takes over. I think this primer is best suited for people with normal skin types.
