My daughter absolutely adores her bed and it had a great color. I love the distressed paint job. It was a little less distress than what we expected, but it still looks really good. It seems very sturdy and a good quality it's made of solid wood.. overall the instructions were easy to understand, and the assembly was pretty simple itself. The desk is huge. I would not recommend it for a taller person. She's 11 but she's 5'3” and she bumps her head a lot when she's under the desk part. But honestly, this was a great purchase. I would definitely buy it again. The only thing I wish was the different is that it had more storage because the shelves are great, but I would like to have had some drawers or more cabinets with doors, but that's just a personal preference!

The bed is very nice and a decent quality for the price. It does require a LOT of assembly. It took two guys about half a day to put it together.

Some parts had cracks and voids in the coating(paint). I am overall happy with the bed but i always glue all dowels and slots as i put them together so they never get loose over time. I additionally recommend lag bolting the bed to the wall from 2 sides or install a triangulating brace and screw it to the wall on one side.
