Harris Seeds Cucumber Taurus F1 - 25 Seeds

What did I think of these cucumbers? I will NEVER buy anything else! I have had such a great harvest with these Cucumbers, I have share with the neighborhood! Yes! Probably about 15 houses. This year started out great, but the dang yard people spread their grass fertilizer everywhere and they killed my garden! Not the fault of the seeds. Every time I start the seeds each and every single seed grows. Never have they failed. Next year, I will have a bigger garden. Can't wait!

This is our first choice in cucumbers. We try new ones each year, including much more expensive cucumbers, but no other beats these.

This was a first time planting for me of this variety and I couldn't be more pleased. We had gone camping for 3 days when there were only teenie fruit on the vines, and I returned to find 2 GIANT cukes hiding at the base of the vines. I train my cukes to climb because I plant in large raised boxes.) I was fully expecting these first 2 to wind up in the compost, but when I cut into the largest one, I was tickled to find that it was wonderfully fragrant, crisp and juicy, and with very few and small seeds. We ate our first cucumber salad that night and are looking forward to many more. Don't be impatient with these, as they like to fill out. I'll be ordering them again!

This cucumber has an effective growing habit and the fruit is phenomenal - it is mild and tender with growth habit that allowed me to gently move new vines to a fence... making it much easier to pick and observe. The cucumber itself Never got too big to eat... it stayed tender and tasty no matter how long it grew which was often 12-14" in length and barely got bigger around. I plant them every year and share the seeds with my friends, because my family cannot use the whole crop. Friends are Hooked on this variety, too.

These are the best cucumbers I have ever grown. They need little help to trellis, are beautiful, tasty, and prolific. I have donated dozens to the local food bank over the past weeks along with eating them on a daily basis!

Tarsus cucumbers are awesome slicers and heavy producers. Skins are very thin and seeds are small. They are perfect for salads and snacks.

We had a cold spring but seeds germinated and getting ready to pick the first cucumber this week! (6/21/23)
