jiffy pellets
Good deal on the item and free shipping, so quite pleased. Only problem was a big delay in shipping of over 2 weeks, and hard to find someone to help. Finally found someone who promptly got it out the door, but it wasn't easy.

Kind of small and not
Kind of small and not real dense.

Didn't do well
Had to throw a lot of them out. Seeds got sick or did not germinate. Seedlings did much better that I planted in seed starter mix in cell trays. I've used these in the past with success, but won't be using them again.

Choking
The "corn starch" netting goes not biodegrade quickly. In fact, it seems to strangle the root system. It should really be removed before transplanting.
