I absolutely loved this cake Noemi the Cake Maker was such an awesome cake decorator I always love it when she's there. do you make sure that the consistency of the cake was appropriate to our taste and to my child's leggings which is very rare to find nowadays with cake makers
Walmart tiered cakes for kids' birthday parties are a hidden gem. All the kids at my grandson's party marveled at the cake. It was very fresh and tasted great! It is my go-to for all my grandchildren's birthday parties.
Walmart always does a great cake for a great price. Everyone is always so surprised by the quality of it. i always get bavarian creme in the middle and its so yummy
We ordered the cake for our daughters birthday. There was a very weird yellow filling between the layers which we never ordered. The print on the cake peeled off like paper when the cake was cut. The decoration looked sloppy and very unprofessional
cake was delicious, but the order was incorrect. i wanted the top tier to be vanilla and the bottom chocolate. instead I go a top tier vanilla and my bottom tier was one layer chocolate and one vanilla. my daughter likes chocolate so only got a little chocolate. it was good but disappointing. looked great!
cacke tastes very good. the decoration was beautiful but the cacke paper was not so sticky on the cacke. and inwas no informed that there was a game.that cames with it.
we were suppose to have a cake for my sons birthday party at 245 or 3ish but when i arrived it wasnt even made and was late. my husband would have to come back for it and the cake wasboff centers and paper was off centered too. The writting was great
The cake literally had no taste to it. I was eating it with a scoop of ice cream and I realized that the only thing I could taste was icing and ice cream. The actual cake itself had no taste. It didn't taste like chocolate, it didn't taste like vanilla the cake just had cake texture that was it. it was beautifully decorated though so shout out to the decorator but these are some of the most blandest cakes I have ever tasted. We have been getting Walmart cakes for over 15 years now and I guess maybe I never realized they were so bland or it's a new recipe but add some flavor to the cakes.
I ordered this cake three days before my wife's birthday - she's a big time Harry Potter fan and I knew she'd love this cake. It had a fantastic appearance in its on-line pictures. I got regular emails from the WalMart bakery informing me that the cake was in the process of being made and would be ready on its promised day. So far, so good. On the morning I went to pick the cake up, I was told it hadn't been made. The woman at the bakery counter apologized profusely and promised if I could give her half an hour, she'd have it ready. I had other errands to run so I told her I'd do better than that - would 50 minutes work for her? She assured me that would be plenty of time, so I left - hopeful for a happy ending to this mistake. When I returned, thankfully the cake was ready. The woman opened the box for me to inspect the cake and it looked fabulous, except that I had ordered in with chocolate frosting and it had white/vanilla frosting on it. When I called it to her attention, she told me that I could not have ordered it with chocolate frosting because they only offer it in white frosting. I showed her on-line where I had made the selection for chocolate frosting and even pointed to a sign above the bakery counter that indicated the cake was available in both vanilla/white and chocolate frosting. She, obviously, has nothing further to say and since time was tight, I accepted the cake as it was and headed home. It's a two-tiered cake and it's packaged in such a way that the integrity of the cake should have been preserved, however, when I opened the box to put it on the birthday table, the cake had slid - both levels into each other and looked anything but yummy. Obviously, the are methods used to keep the two tiers of cake attached to each other that apparently didn't have time to take hold properly in order to prevent this from happening. The cake - priced at about $70 by the way - that could have been such a surprise was a huge disappointment. In fairness, I've lived long enough to learn that dispite one's best efforts, thing can go wrong - it's just part of the human experience. And I will further say that I've never known WalMart not to do what could be done to make things as right as possible. As I relayed my bakery experience to the department manager, I was immediately given a full refund and a heart-felt apology. Seeing my wife's reaction to the cake-that-could-have-been, I will be ordering another one. It's a great looking cake. Hopefully, the next one will have the time to settle and the person puttng the cake together won't miss the details of what cake filling and frosting have been ordered and all will be well. My wife and I did break off a couple of pieces of the broken-down cake and both agreed it was really tasty!
the cake was not made correctly to stay up...the whole top layer slid off and unfortunetly did not make it to the party...$85 wasted...hopefully in the future for other people they will reinforce the cake better so that wont happen to them.
