Awesome item, works great

Soo, this is the "European" design from Germany. This by the way originated in the US, Germans simply rebranded it, introduced finer teeth and slapped it x8 price. Thanks to HART, I got mine at an unbeatable price. Abused it, tortured it, pipe torqued it, trying to get it to fail. No and no and no! Great design, excellent steel, very fine machining and perfection in executing a lifetime tool. Slide and stop are very precise and have positive feedback, noticeable even with thicker gloves. I love every inch of it and most of all how versatile it is for usage on so many projects - from automotive to plumbing.

these pliers are awesome they're much better than any other type of pliers or channel locks when you're trying to grip something and work on it at the same time they don't slip they've got great teeth that sink in but they don't sink in in a literal sense as to where it damages whatever you're holding but it just locks into place like it's awesome and the button to move and make it bigger or smaller of a mouth to grip things is just genius I love it. great product I would recommend it to anyone and everyone needing channel locks or anything of the sort.

Nice value for the price. Not quite up to Craftsman (Sears) standards but good enough for everyday use.

I buy it for to use on propane tank.

Cheeks. Bought cause it was on clearance broke trying to remove hose clamps. Spend extra dollar buy better

These broke with the first use. Snapped like a twig

These broke on their first use. The locking mechanism just broke and will no longer lock in the desired position. I saw another review like this and thought they must have gotten a bad pair. But now that I have them and they are broken, I can see the design flaw in the mechanism. The back of it is held in place by plastic, which literally popped off when I put pressure on them. So I guess if you only want to use them to put pressure on some balsa wood, then they might hold up. Want to actually lock onto a bolt and put some real pressure on them, forget it then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The title says it all...they are groove joint but not locking:) Pops out of position with the slightest pressure, making them useless. Not worth the hassle of mailing back for a warranty claim...costs more than the tool.
