These Vice Grips work as expected. There isn't anything to complain about ... they are a simple straight forward tool that perform perfectly.

I haven't used these locking pliers yet, but they feel and appear to be of good quality and the price was fair. I gave them a 5-star rating based on that, but the real test will be after I use them a few times.

Hart locking pliers are not quite up to the level of the expensive locking pliers on the market, nor of other Hart pliers. They are a bit loose in assembly, and therefore take a little more care in operation to lock on the item to be gripped. The jaws are well serrated and functional. These pliers are a great value for occasional use.

I had purchased these pliers for assisting with holding items to my work bench. Was grateful I had them after having a blow out on the way to school and found spare tire retaining bolt was rusted into the compartment of the trunk. After trying several minutes with other pliers a family member arrived with the locking pliers and was able to remove the bolt and change the tire. Would recommend and likely purchase again in the future for spare set to keep in the car.

I recently had my garage torsion spring break. Decided it was a DIY project, ordered this to keep the bar from opening the door while I handled the job. Was great.

For the price, these pliers are decent but had I known the quality was as inferior as they turned out, I would have passed on these and paid a few dollars more for a higher quality brand. These definitely will not last very long with prolonged use. Even the locking mechanism feels off.
