HART 10-Piece Assorted Titanium Drill Bit Set

I don't have very many drill bits because I never do much to need them. Since I moved into this house I have had to remove all the traverse rods and replace them with up to date rods and curtains. I found out on the first window that there is a difference in drill types. I am a novice when it comes to drills so I had a lot to learn. We could not drill through anything with the drill bits that I have. Those bits are so old and so used up over the last 20 years. So it's safe to say I need all new bits and this time I'm throwing all of the old bits away. These titanium bits are amazing! I had to cut a steel pipe in half and did not have a saw that could cut it. I decided to drill several holes with these titanium bits and then used a chisel to connect to opening in the holes. This method worked perfectly to cut the pipe all because these titanium bits cut through the pipe so easily, from the first hole to the last one. Now I have an entire set that has a nice compact case that locks. Now when I need a bit I can easily find all of them in one place.

Not sure how long this set will perform, but right out the box they drilled quicker than a drill bit set I have by another major manufacturer. Comes in a nice case that allows for you to easily remove the drill bit you need by moving the blue holder upwards out of the case and yet still be attached to the case. I drilled holes into wood and also into metal overhang in no time at all and I am a female. The other drill bit set that I have was not Titanium. So I really hope this set last me a long time.

HART 10P Titanium DRILL BIT SET: This is a very nice set of drill bits. It has all of your basic sizes of bits and they seem to be pretty good for just about anything you need to drill into. I have used them to drill into plastic, wood, drywall, and even metal. Each time they have preformed very well. After using them on metal, I normally would see some scoring or minor scratches on the drill bits, I did not see that on these bits. On each hole for each material, they were clean and smooth and no left over material on the front or back of the hole which tells me that these are very sharp. I have not had them for very long so I am not sure how they will hold up over time but at this point they have preformed better than other more expensive bits I have used in the past. The case is nice and durable. I have tossed it into my tool box, dropped it on the floor and have only seen minor scratches. It keeps the bits safe from rolling around and getting scratched. I would definitely recommend this to any DIYer or professional if they are needing drill bits.

You know that having a good drill bit set is important. With your older sets they get dull, bent and some bits lost with time. So this one is the next one to get. Sharp, and drills like into butter for the drilling work you need to do. I had to hang some new pictures in older lathe plaster walls after we repainted some rooms. This old plaster breaks and crumbles when you try to nail into it. So you need to predrill so minimize damage to wall. No one wants chucks of wall to come off and hope the picture will hide it. So do it right and predrill. Nice sharp drill bits make this so much easier. I was a drilling fool, got all my pictures on the walls now. The drill bits don't show any wear or tear so ready for my next job.

The HART 10-Piece Assorted Titanium Drill Bit Set with Storage Case is a nifty tool for the tool box. The case if easily carried around to where it is needed and the bits are tough. Since they are all in one place, no more searching for the right size bit for that job you are doing!

I was able to put these drill bits in my drill easily, and they seem sturdy. Time will tell how well they hold up but so far so good! The case they come in makes it easy to find the right size for the job so that's a plus. I definitely recommend these bits.

I received this Harts 10 Piece Titanium drill bit set from Walmart Spark Review program to be reviewed. I own a cordless 18V Hyper Tough screw gun and these bits work perfect with it. I had to do some drilling on my back yard fence and I had no problems. I really don't know the difference between Titanium drill bits and others because they all worked great for me. They come in a nice case with 10 different sizes to meet your drilling needs. They are strong and have a more defined sharp cut to them making it more easier to go through wood a lot faster then my other bits. Maybe that's the difference between the 2. Yes I do recommend the titanium drill bits as I believe you can't go wrong with them as they will meet all your drilling needs.

This drill bit set comes in a wonderful plastic case to keep all the bits organised. There are 10 bits with the smallest 2 at 1/16th, (the only double size). The titanium really makes a difference with sharpness and holding that edge. I make hand made Coptic books each signature (section of pages) must have holds to be sewn together. In the past I have used all different types of drill bits, they get hot and burn, or lose their edge in three books or less. This Hart set is amazing I have used just one of the 1/16th and I've already made 6 books and there is no sign of losing the edge or burning (discoloring from the blade getting too hot) The bit goes through the pages quickly with no hesitation, no pulling on the pages, and leaving clean smooth holes. I recommend this set of drill bits to any craft person that uses drill bits in their work.

If you're looking for a basic set of drill bits for wood and metal, you can't go wrong with this set. Very convenient and inexpensive set of drill bits to have around for any home improvement projects. I've used several bits for drilling steel and I was surprised the drill bits worked so well, sharp and did the job without any problems. The split point tip works, bits didn't walk when you start to drill. I'm very satisfied with this set. The set also comes in a nice case too. And all this for a good price, you get a decent quality set of bits with wear resistant titanium coating.

The HART 10-Piece Assorted Titanium Drill Bit Set with Storage Case is a great option for the DIYer. We are always looking for drill bits to complete the projects around the house. This set is a nice size and should be just about every size you need to complete home projects. They are sharp with a starting edge on the end so it doesn't skip around when you start drilling. They will put a nice pilot hole in a 2x4 with no problem. The storage case is a nice bonus. I like that it is clear so you know what you are grabbing and what is inside. This would be a great set for any homeowner or crafter.
