HART 12-inch Bar Clamp, Nickel-Plated Bar

Very high quality in my opinion. Going to buy more of these clamps can never have to many clamps. Lol. Good strong steel. If you’re looking for a great clamp stop, this is it , just add it to your (4 of them to start) cart. You want regret it I promise.

I used it to build a header for a house that was under construction, the clamp is sturdy enough to be able to use it to pull the members to plumb and unlike other clamps the release lever is easy to release. I would recommend this clamp to anyone that values precision in their wood work.

The cast iron build quality of the tools is awesome. it is extremely robust. for small spaces it fits great and the non-marring pads are great on softer wood projects. overall great clamp that im sure will stay in my go-to tool box for a long time.

These are quite simply excellent. Some clamps can be difficult to adjust over time. Not so with these. After many uses, these have held up great. Definitely reccomend.

Measurements are easy to see whether in 8th or 16th increments. Slides easy. No problems over the 30 days I've had it. Nice go-to tool. If you don't have one of these in your toolbox you're probably wasting some time on the job. This provides an efficient and accurate way of clamping projects quickly and then cinching them down a little tighter as needed. Ten out of ten from me.

I have about a dozen different types of bar clamps, and the Hart bar clamp is definitely one of the best, and has a good build quality. Some of my bar clamps slide when you're trying to place them, and it takes three hands to hold them with your project in place until you get each clamp tightened. The Hart bar clamp doesn't do that. It holds open to the place where you want it, adjusts easily with the sliding clamp end, and clamps without marring the wood because of the rubber boots on each clamping surface. It also balances on the back of its spine without rolling over which will be handy for some projects.

After using for 2 months, for all intents and purposes it seems to be a decent clamp. The clamp holds tight and doesnt really loosening its grip when locked in. I like the cushioning pad where it makes contact with the work piece. The only thing I would have liked is for the screw handle to have some sort of texturing or some form of rubber. Trying to use the wooden handles when you have saw dust on your hands is difficult.
