Precise weight for me! If you think any tool can actually be considered pretty then you find it with this! Think all HART tools are. Best mallet I've had and there's been quite a few. Definitely recommend buying this, happy I did. My HART tools collection is getting better with each purchase. Recommend this if you're looking for an amazing tool.
I have another hammer like this but it is very soft. This one is hard and still didn't damage the project I was working on.
I'm a fan of Hart tools I have many .This rubber mallet is well constructed , It delivers a substantial blow with little to no noise and doesn't mark the item you hit
After I broke our very cheap rubber mallet I found this and I am very grateful! Installing yard trim went much more smoothly since it arrived.
The 16-ounce mallet is very sturdily built. It has a comfortable grip and handle. The head is supple enough to trust for most jobs, minimizing the chance of damaging the surface of the object being hit. In addition, the neutral white color of the head minimizes the chance of color transfer. From a weight perspective, it is well balanced to deliver a solid hit after swinging. It is not awkward, and can readily be managed with a single hand. A bigger mallet is likely necessary for heavier uses, but for light to medium uses, this one works perfectly. Highly recommended for home use, and probably professional use as well, given the quality of the item.
The Hart rubber mallet is perfect for my needs! It has a rubbery textured handle that fits well into my hand, and I feel secure using it that it won't slip out of my grip. I also like the fastener on the top of the mallet, as it is wider than the handle so I know that part is secure as well. Thus works great for my light jobs like putting in my landscape posts or hammering stakes into the ground it does a great job!
This rubber mallet is definitely better than any I have ever owned. It has a white rubber head which does not leave marks on your surface. The handle is easy to grip. It is fiberglass with a rubber grip over it so that it does not slip out of your hand when in use. The 16 ounce weight is great for heavier jobs. I was putting in 1 on conduit for birdhouses that needed to be driven into the ground about 3 feet. This made the job easier and did not damage the top of the pipe. I really like the hang hole made into the handle. I have a hanger system in my workshop for tools. Most tools don't come with an easy way to hang them so this makes storage easy. I should not lose it as long as it gets back to the proper hook. This rubber hammer has a limited warranty, but is sturdy so should last a long time. I highly recommend it for anyone needing this type of tool for any jobs. It works great and is comfortable to use.
This is my first time owning a mallet. It really came in handy, as I was putting together a plastic shelving unit. I really like the handle grip. It was easy to use and my hand didn't slip on the handle when using. Just enough pressure to hammer but not indent. Good quality and craftmanship.
The item was delivered but not as advertised. Item was too small.
bot made well
