The storage Rail starter kit provided me with much needed storage capability that I didn't have before. I was so impressed in the strength of the steel bar and steel hooks that were provided in the kit. The installation is easy as can be. I found the wall studs and anchored the main part of the steel bar to that first. I have several heavy items on my bar and all the weight seems to be no problem for this well made system. I do highly recommend this kit to anyone who needs to get items off the floor and up on the wall.
HART 18 Piece Garage Storage Rail Starter Kit comes with 4 rails, end caps & adjoining rail pieces, several varieties of hooks, hardware, & instructions. Each rail has a 250 lb capacity and each hook has a 50 lb capacity. It can be set up in a variety of ways depending on your specific needs. These helped aid in getting the clutter off the garage floor, freeing up so much space. The rails are easy to install, the hooks sit on the top rail and with just a push on the bottom, it is installed. Many hooks to choose from, making it easy to mix and match for your specific needs.
HART 18-Piece Garage Storage Rail Starter Kit has allowed to us to take back our floor space! This is an assemble yourself kit with several pieces, but do not be alarmed, it is simple! You need a screwdriver and a level, if you do not have a level, you can always "eye" it for evenness! My husband was able to assemble this by himself in about half hour start to finish. The hooks are sturdy, we have a bicycle hanging from ours with no problems. HART 18-Piece Garage Storage Rail Starter Kit is one of the best things to happen to our garage!
Came in 4 sections of super sturdy black metal. They can be mounted together or in sections. All the mounting hardware you could need is included and holes are there and spaced for studs. Brackets of every size for use with a broom to a chainsaw are included and just clip on the rail. I've had an accident and cannot mount it yet, but will use two brackets on two walls. Looking forward to getting to it. A very well thought out product.
My husband just loves rail kit. I have been after him for a while to "clean up" our garage and make more room. This kit was just the thing he needed to get the project done.....and done right!!! Thank you for this product. I 100% recommend this to everyone with a garage.
Wonderful tool organizer for smaller spaces that do a lot of work. This installed easily and cleaned up the area nicely. Was considering the garage but the shed proved a better fit. My tools are at eye level and easier for helpers to grab when I ask them for something. This improved the situation perfectly.
This rail system is heavy built and can really hold a lot. It's meant to hold your heavy tools. It's amazing! It comes with 2 large double hooks, 3 double straight holders, 3 power tool hooks that can hold 50 lbs each, 2 shorter double hooks/holders, and a broom or shovel holder and 2 other hooks. It comes with all the hardware for mounting the rail. Really nice rail system. I'm very pleased.
Big surprise at how heavy duty these racks are. Includes a variety of hooks and devices to hang just about anything. Was able to attach rails to studs so easily handles leaf blower leaf vacuum, edger and chain saw, Heavy duty enough to hang lawn mower if it didn't stick out too far. Looks nice and hooks are coated to protect finish of tools. If you've got heavy tools to hang this could be the rack you need, couldn't be happier.
Organizing our garage turned out to be something of a challenge. Thank goodness for the HART 18 PIECE GARAGE STORAGE KIT for making it easier. The Starter Kit came with: - 4 Rails with pre-drilled holes. Yay! - Screws and plastic anchors. Use with care. Snap-On and Off: - 3 Double hooks. - 3 Single hooks. - 1 Small J-hook. - 2 Large J-hooks. - 3 Power tool hooks. - 1 S-hook. - 1 Dual utility hook. - And instructions. Some Tips: - See what you have, and decide what you want to hang up. - You'll need a pencil, hammer, Philips screwdriver, level, a drill, and drill bits (1/8 inch and 3/8 inch). - Your first rail should be 4 feet off the ground. - The next rail up should be approximately 3½ feet apart, depending on the length of your tools. See Hart's diagram for great placement suggestions. After 12 Days: - The Hart System is a good way to keep our garage organized. Install one rail, and the others will follow pretty quickly. - You'll have the accessories to kick-start your project. - I found out we have too many tools and need a BIGGER garage. LOL!
The quality overall isn't bad, but the wall rails were pretty thin and got slightly damaged in shipping. On that, the box and wrapping it came in were minimal - literally. The items were basically just shoved together and wrapped with plastic cling wrap then shoved in a long box. Because of this, many screws were missing as they punctured through everything and I had to find my own. The instructions don't have any height suggestions, so you just gotta figure it out. The wall rails also had incredibly stupid alignments on the mounting holes. What idiot decided to make a 36 inch unit and NO HOLES LINE UP to STUDS!?!?!?! Everything has to be placed 1-2 holes to the side of a stud so you get at least 2 pairs of holes hitting studs! I'm hanging like 100-150 lbs of stuff on these, I want studs not some junk wall anchors to hold this up! Anyway, it made things look really stupid on the wall and line up all awkwardly - but I made it work in the end. The rail attachments are fine, go on pretty easily. I wish the S-hook direction could be changed because it faces the exact wrong way for me. I had to widen the gap on some of them for my shovels to fit into, but with some elbow grease that was easy enough. I'm not sure other hardware may be better - never used it, but I found it highly frustrating that this wasn't as awesome as I expected it to be.
