HART 19 oz. Hickory Framing Hammer

Nice. like the old Hart framing hammers but one of the heads were loose I had too pound the steel head shims in to tighten hope I don't have to keep doing that

You will see by the pictures that this Hart hammer is similar to one of the top name brands, they both have limited lifetime guarantees. I have not used either one of these hammers yet, but they are both the same weight, have similar design, and the quality and feel are the same to me.

im used to paying $35-40 for a Hart hammer. im 59 and have been building since i was 14. they make my favorite hammer

I had purchased Hart hammers years ago when I started out as a Framing contractor. I was very pleased to see that they have maintained their quality.

hart makes great products. dont hesitate.

The handle is longer than I expected-- about 17 inches. It is probably great for framing and other heavy duty jobs. I should have checked claw hammers for the ordinary workers I'm doing. The face is cross-hatched. ( Photo included, not shown in description online)

to have this hammer at his side making him a Norse legend. When unboxing I was surprised by the overall size of this hammer. It dwarfs a standard framing hammer. Has a cross-hatched face to grip the nail head to help prevent slipping off. There's also a magnetic nail set slot above the face. Handy. Swing is powerful. Took a full two blows off my seating a framing nail. Sometimes more. Nail set and swing take a little practice getting used to. But still gets a 4 star rating.

Good hammer for the price. But I thought the handle would be more comfortable to use. Weight to handle ratio is a bit off.
