I'm using it just for around the farm to take ATV wheels off and trailer wheels off so far works pretty good have no problems with it if it's something it can't do I've got my compressor and air impact to do the job.
This bad-boy is a fantastic tool to have for any DIY, like myself. I live in North Florida on six acres of wooded land in a rural area. Having a Hart battery-operated Half-Inch Impact Wrench allows me to go anywhere on my property to change a tractor tire, cutting blades, and even rotate my car tires without dragging around an air hose or an electric cord. WooHoo! Since I already have a Hart 3/8“ drill and Outdoor Blower it gives me two extra batteries to use for my 1/2” Impact Wrench since all Hart Re-Chargeable Batteries are interchangeable with all of Hart's tools. YooHoo! However, Hart does recommend using the 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery for heavier and longer uses. A rechargeable battery is NOT included with this this impact wrench. I changed a tractor tire in the 'field' using this Hart Impact Wrench. The lug nuts were 13/16” and just about rusted in place. This Hart Impact Wrench loosened them with ease. And, after rotating all of the tires on my SUV I am a 'believer' in this Hart Half-Inch Impact Wrench. I loosened 20 lugs and then, re-tightened 20 lugs after tire rotation. I used up one 20V, 1.5Ah Lithium Ion Battery, and, after changing batteries still had power left in the second, 1.5Ah. How cool is that? An unexpected surprise was the LED work light, which remains 'ON' as long as I am actively using the impact wrench. It shuts 'OFF' after inactivity. This LED work light would be invaluable if I had to change a tire at night. I love the quality of Hart Tools and the value they provide for their price point. I highly recommend this Hart battery-operated Half-Inch Impact Wrench. It is great to have in my garage and take with me on any auto road trips for 'just-in-case'. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
This was a gift for my husband and he has had no complaints thus far so I am assuming it is meeting the needs for which he is using it for.
It's feel more powerful then the previous order i had…
This review if for the HART 20-Volt Cordless 1/2-inch Impact Wrench. This impact wrench delivers up to 350ft./lbs of torque. Great at loosening bigger nuts and bolts. So impressive! I no longer have to pull out the air compressor to remove a bolt! This impact wrench has a friction wring allowing for quick change of sockets while still providing a firm grip! I absolutely recommend this impact wrench to everyone!
My son had bought one of these several years ago and really liked it, so I decided to get one after my old air impact wrench started to fail. It works great, has lots of torque, but I had trouble keeping it running. After one trigger pull, it wouldn't go again unless I popped the battery out and re-installed it, then it would run again. I took a pair of needle-nose pliers and made a very slight bend on the battery contacts on the drill base and that seems to have solved the issue. I'm guessing the squeeze contacts on the battery itself aren't tight enough, but I wasn't able to adjust them, so I went a different route.
Wasn't enough torque to remove the nuts off the exhaust system it would give out and I have to let go of the trigger and pull the trigger again.
works good battery last a long time too
only rating a 3 Solely on the fact that i use it to change tires and it got hot and stopped working until it cool down
Shuts off taking the axle nut off
