I had to get a hammer drill to drill 5/8 holes through 4 inch concrete ,i burned up a chorded one i had , This one worked great , i would buy it again !
I bought a HART rechargeable mower several years ago. I love not having the gas around. It works fine. It came with a nice big battery. I never have to worry about a stinky garage. It has headlights. I liked it so much that I I bought this HART hammer drill. I liked it a lot, but I never used it because I learned that with my 6 inch wrists and 20 holes through 2 inch cement in preparation for hurricanes, that I would need a cord to drill with an anti-kickback/auto stop safety feature. My situation is exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hammer drill because it's lightweight and it comes the HART company.
Came with a defective battery. Battery had a partial charge. When I put it in the charger I get the error light and battery will not charge. Used the battery on the drill but only had a 1/2 charge. Once charge went to zero it still would not take a charge. Can't find any link on this app to get resolution for this issue ( a replacement battery). Fortunately I have another battery and the drill and that battery charges fine. Lost one star for the battery issue.
Battery wouldn't charge, so I returned to the store to receive a new one. I buy my son all Hart products so the batteries can be used on all of his tools and remain universal. great product, just a dud battery that caused a slight inconvenience.
the unit arrived and battery was dead. Being a kit it came with a charger but is seems there is a problem with the battery and it will NOT charge. I will lend up buying another battery to replace the small one sent. Recommend having more battery's to be sure to be able to start work right away. Otherwise unit seems to run and have yet to see the hammer part drill into these old heavy wood studs.
Brand new out of box had to return for a second one because it wouldn't charge. The second one wouldn't either. Googled the issue had to buy a battery charger and two wires and hooked them up got a zap on the battery and hooked it up to the charger and they finally charge. Way too much trouble for what they cost.
DO NOT BUY THIS!! Order this to help with a home project. Battery was DOA, dead on arrival. Contacted Hart Customer Service. They said that they would send out a new battery. It's been almost 3 weeks and still haven't seen the new battery.
Charger/Battery failure out the box! (Blinking red light- testing) Battery never charged, arrived DOA so i never got to try the drill. Easy return, but now I have call the warranty service agreement people for a refund.
The drill was a gift for our grandson. Out of the box, the drill never held a charge. When our daughter in law tried to return it to Walmart she was told it could not be returned without a receipt. She had no receipt as it was shipped directly to her.
the drill works perfectly. my issue is with the battery. i can not get it to charge. when i plug it in to the charger it blinks red 3 or 4 times. is it possible to exchange just the battery as i no longer have the box?
