HART 20 Volt 13" Cordless Trimmer & Blower Combo Kit

Love this combo! Both are fairly light so it is easy to carry around the yard! A great deal ! I do wish the trimmer was a bit stronger!

The more times ( just a few times) the battery last longer and is nice products

These two tools are AMAZING!!! The weed-eater is light, pre-loaded with string, easy to assemble, no messy fuel or grease, just click in the power pack and GO! It has a tilt feature to edge with. It has no bump action needed to advance the string simply turn the power off and on and it advances it for you. There is a manual feed button as well! I am a lady who has had neck surgery and when I tell you this is light, I mean it! The blower is powerful and blows up to 15 or more feet away with strong force! I cleared our carport in SECONDS! After using the weed-eater, I simply swapped the power pack to the blower and moved right on. Fabulous yard tools!

trimmer work really great, the blower work great to only thing i hate it doesn't have a strap to go around your shoulder to hold while you use it

Battery died after just a few minutes.

bought this HART 20V/40V Blower and String Trimmer combo brand new from Walmart, and it was a total disappointment right out of the box. After unpacking everything, I put the battery on the charger only to get the "defective" or "error" light immediately. The battery is completely dead and will not take a charge. This isn't just a "dud" unit; it’s a result of these kits sitting in stock for too long obviously "Deep Discharge" Lithium battery have a "self-discharge" rate. Even when they aren't being used, they slowly lose voltage. When a product sits in a warehouse or on a Walmart shelf for months (or years) after leaving the factory, the voltage can drop below a critical threshold. Chemical Death: Once the voltage drops too low, the battery enters a "deep discharge" state. The Safety Lock: Most modern chargers have a Protection Circuit Module (PCM). If the charger detects that the battery voltage is below a certain level (like 2V per cell), it will refuse to charge it for safety reasons to prevent a fire or explosion. Permanent Damage: In many cases, the internal chemistry is permanently damaged once it hits this "flatline" state, making the battery nothing more than an expensive paperweight. The Bottom Line HART needs to do a better job with their "First In, First Out" inventory or ship these with a higher storage charge. If you buy this, check the manufacture date on the box. If it’s been sitting for a while, you’re likely walking out of the store with a dead battery. Save yourself the trip back to the customer service desk for a return and look at a brand with better quality control. Pros: None (couldn't use it). Cons: Dead battery out of the box, poor shelf-life management.

DO NOT FOR ANY REASON waste money on this item. i should have read the reviews first. I returned this combo ON CAMERA at Anniston Walmart in the pickup area oddly enough in spot 28, a first for me to return an item in the pickup area. The 2 boys who scanned it had issues then assured me all was good, my Visa DEBIT card would be issued 173.01 within a few days, took the items and we left. Easy Peasy. nope... When i called because i noticed the items acted like I'd never returned them i called the store to have the Manager look at the camera to see i did in fact return it, the Manager of the store thought had placed me on hold (nope i heard every word) about how she is busy and is not digging through bins and looking at cameras for this little girl. How she is leaving me on hold and will send me to the site so they can deal with me. She did exactly that. When i call the AI bot says the item was returned May 1st (correct) they received the items on May 3rd (yup) and here we are the 24th, i was told over a week ago the refund will be split between my United Health card and my Visa Card lol (so no buying a new weedeater combo from another store but whatever) still didnt get the refund nor the email i was told i would get from Tier 2 lol called again and guess what? i get to wait another 2 weeks (10 business days) for the refund. all of this could have been avoided if the snotty manager had looked for the items weeks ago and camera. No more buying large itema from Walmart this is ridiculous.

Plugged in battery pack to charge it while I assembled the trimmer. The charger flashed red indicating that it was testing the battery. Cool. Got the trimmer put together and head into my kitchen to grab the battery, the charger is still flashing red. Not cool. Check the battery life level. Nothing. Plug it back into the charger and leave it for 24 hours. Still flashing red. Returning it today for a full refund. Not going to buy a battery because the one it came with won’t charge because there’s no guarantee that the replacement will charge at this point.

Used string trimmer only 3 times and stopped working. Battery is charged. Have to now locate a repair shop, drop off tool and pay a $25.00 deposit to have it repaired while still under warranty!!! Very dissatisfied with this tool and service policy.
