Next Level portable air compressor

Roy December 7, 2024

Much more heavy duty than the smaller offerings. Recommend.

hidden gem

I like the portability of it. Once I set it up with blue coil hose I put all the accessories in the hart zipper bag to hang on the handle so they are easy to find. Another useful tool in the hart line. It is too bad that the regular shopper does not how many tools are in there line up. This one and the snow blower are good examples of that.

Good tool.

Andrew October 3, 2022

After one month of use, I will say it is a stout little compressor. It did everything from driving a staple gun, nail gun, and various tire sizes from adding a few pounds to completely flat. It did it all. Light easy to carry, well balanced, and not extremely loud. The battery location, air connection, gauges, tank drain, on-off switch, as well as the circuit breaker, are easy to get to. Front and center. But I will say Hart's new 20-volt 6Ah battery is the way to go with this for any kind of serious duty use. Overall I'm impressed.

Awesome for what it is.

Barginshopper November 30, 2023

I bought this with low expectations figuring an 18 volt compressor can't do very much. Well I was wrong, this little thing is perfect for what I need. I use it to clean computers out, to inflate my kids tires and toys as well as use it to clear out crevices in my house. it's so portable and not heavy, it just works. I sort of expected small flaws like tiny leaks but there are none it holds the air without issue. It lasts roughly 20 to 25 minutes on a 4AH battery and the break-in period is very simple. All you need to do is put a fully charged for ampile battery open the valve and turn it on, you're all set. I refer this to other people who use it to paint 3D printed items and I love it. I probably wouldn't use it to remodel a house but in a pinch it would work. I would add a picture but the app is not letting me do it and it is under the size requirement.

Good starting kit

VinceC June 19, 2023

Great little guy for quick start like us. It's been fun using it for inflating swimming rings. Can't wait to use it with air tools.

Convenient! Works great!But power hungry%26costly.

KevinG June 24, 2023

If you only have 1.5ah batteries, this thing will eat them up in about 3 cycles. It's Very power hungry. It is semi-quiet in operation (a loud up close, low pitched hum) and fills the 2 gallon tank in 2-3 minutes. Mine is very good at keeping the air for weeks at a time and it doesn't leak any off whatsoever! If you was doing interior work on a house and running like a staple gun or nailer, it would probably keep up just fine! A die grinder or like a sander, not so much. So while it is a great product, unless you have a necessity where time is money and you need air regardless of circumstances, the convenience of it will cost a little over 200$ when it's all said and done. I got this one on SALE, and had some (5 actually lol) 1.5ah batteries, and realized very quick that I was eating thru them faster than I could charge thru them, so I picked up a 4ah battery with the 2 amp charger, and with the bundle (1 half amp charger, one 2 amp charger, one 4ah battery, 5 1.5ah batteries) I use it to detail cars/fill tires, blow out dust from things, and run my nailguns/staplers. It's never let me down so long as I bring a lightning bolts worth of batteries with me lol.

Happy with it

Pleased June 20, 2023

I'm pleased with it as far as using my brad nailer. It won't inflate a deflated tire all the way but it's only a 2 gallon tank. I'm just stating that because I think it was advertised that it would. You can wait on it to refill the tank and go again. It'll get it up enough to get to an air machine. I think one 4ah battery filled my tank 3 times. The initial run where you have to open the drain and let it run a battery down took 27 minutes.

Mediocre product.

Bruce September 25, 2024

Not enough air capacity for most routine household jobs and certainly not adequate for a job site. I had to continually wait for the compressor to refill while filling my car and trailer tires. The tank pressure adjustment knob isn't very user friendly and doesn't allow for precise adjustment settings. The 4 amp/hr battery ran down to empty in about 20-25 minutes and also needed recharging. I'm not exactly sure what this unit is best suited for, but I don't recommend it.
