This toolkit is perfect for me doing my own DIY projects. I dont have to borrow my significant others construction tools now that I have everything I need conveniently packed into one bag including all thr bits I could ever need. The tools are simple to use and the instructions are thorough. My significant other, who builds homes, used the tools and said they are comparable to his industrial strength tools and he was impressed with the power these tools have. The battery life isn't very long but that's not a problem for me. The tools are very lightweight and fit comfortably in my hands. The flashlight is very bright and the inflator worked quickly to air up my daughters bike tire and I will definitely be using it next year on our pool floats. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality toolkit for the home.
Everything in this is AMAZING! The price made me a little nervous, but the quality feeling, and how well they work is incredible to say the least. Make sure to charge the batteries as soon as you get this though. Also it doesn’t take too long to charge the batteries. I can’t wait to keep building up my collection of hart tools. They just feel and look so good.
We have several projects waiting for these tools. Both batteries charged up quickly. Got started making a riser for our washer and dryer, the drill/driver worked great for this project. The battery showed no sign of losing power by the end of the project. Next we used the inflator to you air up our ATV tire. It went from less than two psi to seven psi in about 40 seconds. This will be great to take to the boat to air up all those mats and tubes that we use. Can’t wait to use the rest of the tools on more projects
So excited to receive this. My old cordless B&D set was losing its oomph. I do my own home maintenance and DIY, so I really use a lot of tools. The B&D set had a small skilsaw and oscillating sander. I am hoping Hart has similar I can add to this set. Otherwise, I'll have to limp along. This set adds an inflator though, so I no longer have to drag out that big old compressor for small jobs. It also adds a pretty powerful flashlight that is almost powerful enough for a searchlight. I thought I would not need this item, but now I see uses. I love the lights on the drill and impact driver. Set to focus on your work area, they light when you press the trigger and stay on a short time after you release. The batteries charge quickly. I cannot yet attest to how long they hold their charge but they seem pretty powerful. Time to get busy on my To Do and project lists!!!
I’m impressed. This set of 5 Hart cordless tools feels well-made and powerful. Just got it in for review, so I haven’t put everything through an entire gamut of tests, but first impressions are very good. Let’s start with the basics. Each tool comes with its own instruction manual and the kit also includes a very handy zippered tote bag to haul your tools around in. My only complaint with that is it’s not quite large enough to hold all the tools and the 70-piece accessory kit. The two Lithium-Ion 20 volt batteries are rated at 1.5 Amp hours and they feel like they have some heft to them. A single charger is supplied in the kit as well, so you can charge one while using the other, then swap them out as the charge runs out. Charging is a breeze. Just slide the battery into the charging cap and status lights on the cap will tell you what’s going on. The batteries also snap into the charging cap for positive connection. First thing I went after was the standard cordless drill with a ½” hand-tightened chuck with a 24 position clutch and 2 selectable speeds. I’ve had several of these from other manufacturers so I’m quite familiar with them. This drill from Hart is very well balanced and fits perfectly in my hand. It certainly does not feel cheap in any way. Hart advertises both this and the ¼” Impact Driver as brushless – that makes it smaller, lighter and with more power over the life of your battery charge. It also means you won’t have to change out brushes after 50-60 hours of use. That’s a big plus in my book. The ¼” Impact Driver has a quick-change chuck on it so it accepts any of the ¼” hex shank drill bits or screw bits. The 70-piece accessory kit has a good variety of bits and drivers so you’re able to immediately go to work. Both the Impact Driver and the standard drill have a bright LED light to illuminate your work area. Included in this kit is a Hart flashlight, rated at 200 Lumen, nice and bright. The head of the flashlight rotates nearly 360 degrees so you can put the light exactly where you need it if you’re working without an assistant. The flashlight gives off a wide beam with a bright spot right in the center. Hart manufactures a very powerful reciprocating saw that uses the same battery as their drills and it’s included in this set. The saw in this kit comes with a single wood cutting blade, so if you plan on doing any metal work, you’ll need metal blades. The saw trigger allows for an infinite range of speeds and when you’re going at full power, there’s no lag and no bogging down. Rounding out the kit is a Hart cordless power inflator with a 20” hose and a couple of accessories. I didn’t let the air out of a tire to test it, but the literature says it will pump up a tire from flat to full in 7 minutes. The inflator is rated to 150 psi and has a nice back lit pressure display on the rear of the unit. First impressions are good. Plenty of power, backed up with plenty of battery. Time will tell if I need to augment this kit with an extra battery or two, but based on their specs I doubt I’ll need to do that. Buying this 5-piece kit from Hart will save you both money and effort in the long run.
The Hart brand 5 tool combo kit is amazing! The tools are top-notch and very powerful. The inflator is super cool and inflates a flat tire in less than 7 minutes! I love that it has the PSI gauge right on the end of it. The drill is powerful enough to mix a bucket of drywall mud. The LED light has a rotating head with over 200 lumens of light output. It's also not heavy at all. It's great that it comes with the 70 piece drill and drive set! It even came with the hole saw I'm going to need to make the hole in my door for my new deadbolt! Amazingly it all fits in the carry case that was included.... even the two batteries and the fast charger. This is a great kit and it's backed with a 3 year limited warranty. These tools are manufactured by TTI Group, the same company that manufacturers Ryobi and Milwaukee.
I haven't had a chance to use all the tools yet but the one I have used the most and I love it is the flashlight, it's very bright and small enough to keep on our foyer table when we take our dog out at night.
This set offers what a basic homeowner will use for light to intermediate projects around the home. For the price of this set, I am able to perform tasks that were "on hold," for the lack of better tools than my 15 year-old Craftsman NiCad set could offer. I am very pleased with the quality for the price paid. I highly recommend these for the basic do-it-yourselfer.
I received the item, was notified when the item was delivered, and it was packaged well. All perts are present. I received two batteries, neither will charge. The charger light blinks indicating "error". The batteries will not charge. All of the tools and two batteries that will not charge, resulting in nothing working.
ordered this set twice and both times the batteries would not charge just flashed error and tried to go to walmart store to exchange batteries and was told couldnt do that cause it was an online order and the kit had to stay complete exactly how it came so returned both kits as they were and went to lowes for a different set/brand all together
