HART 20-Volt Brushless 4-1/2-inch Angle Grinder/Cutoff Tool (Battery Not Included), New Condition

Super strong grinder. Very fast w/ high rpm motor and extremely lightweight! Easy off on action w/paddle switch so no fumbling looking for trigger that makes you stumble your grinds. Smooth and continuous action and easy to run single handed. And the price just cant be beat.

I now have a full set of battery powered HART power tools and I could not be more pleased. The set I received has a circular saw, drill and impact, flashlight and batteries - and I also have other lawn tools. On the farm, we have to rely sometimes on battery operated tools because we don't always have electricity close by. We recently built a pig-pen at the barn with raw materials taken from downed trees on family's property. The materials included white oak and red oak. Typically, these materials are horrible for draining a battery or causing binding when cutting because the wood is so hard. When I used the HART circular saw for the first time, I was impressed with the lightweight design but when I powered through the first cut, I was hooked. My husband has always used expensive name brands so I let him give the saw a try. He is one of those skilled builders who knows his tools. He was very impressed that he was able to strip a red oak board lengthwise and never lost power, even though the wood is very hard. We also cut white oak boards as needed during the build. The same weekend, we tore down an old farm structure so I was able to use the impact to remove old screws. It was beautiful. These tools are lightweight but powerful. The batteries are not clunky and they fit seamlessly into the job being done. You're not going to get your battery hung up like some other brands I have used. The battery life also exceeded my expectations. Truthfully, I am confused as to why this hasn't been in my life sooner. My husband was mystified by these tools because he has always been partial to another name brand. One of his favorite things was that the tools are light but well made. I would absolutely buy this set for a gift and I absolutely plan to get more HART products to add to my tool kit. Seeing how well these tools are make me eager to get the chainsaw next. These are amazing. Great find!

It's as good as any brand out there

Pay attention as it clearly says it doesn't come with the battery and like a dummy did not read

First of all, because this is no battery included, and I do not own a battery to start the grinder, I did not get to use it by myself. However, the machine itself looks really good, well made and good quality, I would think it Willis perfect job for what it used for. Also when I search the battery online, I realized that all this brand products use the same battery, that is really smart design, I can just get one battery for everything as long as this brand, it is very good way to save money and environment friendly. I highly recommend this product.

Because I already own several HART tools, batteries and chargers, I knew this HART angle grinder would be a great tool to have in my tool box. The angle grinder has performed to perfection every task I could come up with to try it on. First, I used the angle grinder to sharpen garden tools, shovels, garden hoes, lopping tools, and a flat hoe. The hart angle grinder was easy to use, and all my tools are sharp and ready for any task. Next I used the cutting attachment to remove several screws that were left imbedded and above the surface of a concrete porch where old metal railings once stood. The HART angle grinder cutoff tool made quick work of this task that had been pestering me for months. I am glad to have this tool and I have plans for it's use to convert old hunting stands into a garden arbor.

The brushless motor is quieter and lighter. The grinder looks good and performed well for a short use. One suggestion I have is that the handle will feel better if it has a textured grip. The smooth surface may be slippery when your hand is wet. I replaced it with the non-slip handle from my DeWalt grinder and it worked well.

During sanding battery died quick

We have a HART edger that works great. This grander/cutter works as well as the edger, but the instruction book are terrible. Took my husband and me a couple of hours to figure out how to install the grinder and cutter correctly. The instruction book states “see figure X page X” in almost each step, but there are no any instructional figures at all in the whole book. I was very afraid that we may install it wrong and cause safety issues. Finally figured out that you need to secure the grinder and cutter using different sides of the safety bolt. We also think we install the plastic security guard correct (hopefully). Not very satisfied.

had ordered 2-4ah batteries as well as the grinder but got only the grinder. I told the girl who brought out the grinder that there was batteries on the shelf Tuesday and she said I was welcome to go inside to see for myself. Bought them with Affirm and it will take a few days to reflect what I got instead of what I ordered. So I can't get the batteries on Affirm until a few days maybe. The picker and the checker did not do their job.
