HART 20-Volt Cordless Hybrid 12-inch String Trimmer/Edger and Blower Kit (2) 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion Batteries

I was so excited to try this new hybrid system. On first impression, I must say, I love the white and black. It is such a sleek look that you wouldn't expect for lawn equipment. Both units are very light and easy to assemble. For the blower, you just have to attach the nozzle and the trimmer only requires assembly of the top handle. The blower has a simple on/off switch but the trimmer has a much needed additional safety feature. You have to press the top blue button in order for the bottom switch to work. I like that because I know I will turn it on accidentally. The blower is really strong and now it doesn't take forever to blow out my garage and driveway. We used it to blow out the gutters and it was so powerful that it blew mud and leaves all into my husband's hair. He was really amazed at the blowing strength. The best part was when I had forgotten to charge the blower's battery up before using it. We started cleaning the gutters and then the battery died. Oh but now that doesn't mean your day is ruined. We simply pulled out our extension cord and plugged it in and continued with the same blowing power. That changes the game and sets the hybrid system in a league of its own. I love it. I found the trimmer equally easy to use and it made edging my flower bed a breeze. The only down side is that the white gets dirty really quick but that wasn't too much of a problem. They wiped clean with some all purpose cleaner. Each unit has its own battery and they charge surprisingly fast.

This HART Trimmer/Edger & Blower kit is perfect for small to medium yards. I could never use my husband's larger trimmer/edger because it was so heavy, but this one is very light and I can maneuver it with ease. The trimmer easily converts to an edger with a rotating shaft. The blower/sweeper generates a medium air speed, for blowing the patio, garage or leaves in the yard. I really like the hybrid technology because you have the option to use the 20V battery for easy maneuverability or an extension cord for unlimited time, but it is more limiting. This kit also includes 2-2.0Ah batteries and a fast charger. Overall, this product is convenient, lightweight and perfect for small to medium spaces. Comparing the cost of comparable products, this hybrid kit is definitely worth purchasing!

I have spent 4 plus years in construction, I have used many power tools from Dewalt to Milwaukee to Makita and everything in between. These tools have great quality and excellent power. I was pleasantly surprised with these tools and I will definitely purchase Hart tools again.

this is the second I've bought, on the first one i had bought, the motor froze

batteries would not charge

The batteries sent with it were dead! When we got ahold of Hart they said they were 4 year old batteries! We just bought it how can you send 4 year old battery that is dead. They also told us they would send new batteries its been 14 days now and still NO BATTERIES. Not a happy customer at all.

I ordered this product and another weed eater. Same size and brand without the battery. They are too short to begin with but they were on sale and neither battery works. Will not order ever again for this product.

Either the batteries or the charger is bad. Either way cannot charge the batteries fresh out the box.

Both batteries were defective. Had both on a charger overnight and neither worked. Returning.
