This is a great tool, and for many reasons not known until it's used. I purchased it for use on my ranch, and it does everything as it's described. It's light enough for an old guy to use until the battery runs down, about 1.5 - 2 hours. Not wearing me down like a gas-powered chainsaw trimmer (pole saw). The clipper end of the tool is fairly slender and can reach through fencing and between other obstacles, which basically doubles or triples the efficiency of use. I've got about 7-8 hours of use so far and I'm pleased. Highly recommend.
A little heavier than I thought it would be, but heavy means heavy duty and quality in this case.
I like that the pole extends to reach the higher branches. I was surprised at how easy it cut the larger branches. It works quite well.
Very easy to use and works great to prune trees
I'm 73, living on a fixed income, and I live on 3 wooded acres. Nobody did me any favors for this review This is my third year using this tool. I bought it out of my pocket, delivered July 21, 2023, and I'm thinking about getting a second one as a backup, because I wouldn't want to be without it. After a big wind storm on May 28, 2024, my nephew, my neighbor, and I ran it continuously for half a day by taking turns. I'll admit that the cutting head out on the end of the pole is heavy enough that I sometimes wish the battery needed charging more often, but if weighing less would make it less powerful, it would be a bad tradeoff. I also own and use a 14" cordless chainsaw, and another cordless telescoping pole that has a hedge trimmer head and a 10" chainsaw head. The hedge trimmer is good up to maybe ⁵/¹⁶", and the saw attachment handles branches more than 1¼", but you need eye protection for the sawdust, and the lopper can make 3 times as many cuts in the same length of time. The lopper will cut and reset in under 4 seconds, takes 5 to 10 seconds to reposition for the next cut, and never fills your face with sawdust. The variable reach and tilting head easily double or triple the usability of this excellent tool. The only thing I wish for is a short handle adapter that would eliminate the pole, so I could use it for close pruning. I'd give $50.⁰⁰ for one of those! I've looked at many handheld cordless lopping pruners, but they're all puny and overpriced when compared to the power of this lopper.
Just what I needed to cut THICK large diameter branches from my lemon tree. This Pole Lopper cut them effectively and efficiently. Some thicker branches in the 1 1/4” area took two attempts to cut but it still worked great! Overall great purchase and product! Don't think twice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can reach way up to the roof with this lopper. It cuts thick limbs easily. I love it!!
does exactly what it's supposed to do. a little top heavy though. but the power head needs to have some sort of girth in order it to have power and hopefully long life.
it was great with ease of youse and the use of the battery was great.
worked good for 10 minutes then the cutting head quit
