Great for measuring around the house
I originally bought it for my daughter's school work (she needed to measure each room in the house) and it worked great. I've been using it for measuring everything around the house. It retracts easily, is very durable and the numbers are big and easy to read.

Extended tab is nice, lock release could be better
Pretty well built tape measure, good value. The main drawback is that the tape locking mechanism does not release easily...takes some fiddling with. Other than that, it's pretty well put together with a decently thick tape. The oversize hook's pretty handy for getting the tape to hang onto the edge of a longer object when there's no 'helper' about.

Durable but inaccurate
I was fairly content with the product for small projects. However, I measured out 2x4 for studs in a wall and my measurements were either too short or too long after cutting them. I compared to it to my Starrett tape measure, which many blue collar people know is a very reputable brand and it known for the precision of their tools. There was about an 1/8 inch difference when measuring to the same point with both tape measures.
