HART 40-Volt 12" String Trimmer (Battery Not Included)

This review is for a Hart Cordless trimmer and battery. The battery was included. I included a photo of the string trimmer for a closer look. This trimmer is battery operated so there are no cords or gas to worry about. The battery holds a very decent charge! The trimmer itself is powerful, lightweight, well made, and well balanced. It's easy to handle. It did a very good job trimming around my house.

The Hart 40-volt battery string trimmer is by far the best non-gas trimmer I have ever used. I have a gas trimmer but it is heavy and as I have gotten older I find myself using it less often due to the weight of the trimmer. I thought I would give this trimmer a try and am in no way disappointed. The 40-volt battery seems to make a huge difference in the cutting power and time between charges compared to trimmers I have used in the past that had lower voltages. The Hart trimmer did just as good of a job at trimming my yard as my gas trimmer. The balance and weight of this trimmer is perfect. I have what I would consider an average suburban yard with a fenced backyard and lots of edging that needs to be trimmed. I was able to do the entire yard without any noticeable drop in power. The trimmer cut well and the design of the clipping deflector did a better job of keeping the clippings from hitting my legs than my gas trimmer. The self-feeding function worked perfectly and I very much enjoyed not having to bump the trimmer to feed new line. It took me 30 to 40 minutes and I wasn't nearly as fatigued as I usually am after doing the same amount of trimming with my gas trimmer. I loved not having to prime a bulb and pull a rope to start the trimmer like I do with my gas trimmer. There was some assembly required, but it was not difficult at all. A Philips screwdriver is required to secure the two sections of the trimmer shaft together, to attach the front handle to the shaft and to also attach the clipping deflector. Assembly time was less than 10 minutes. The string was pre-loaded and there was plenty to do my entire yard. The process to reload the string is not difficult at all. Charge time for the battery was less than 2 hours, both for the initial charge and recharging after use. The trimmer is much quieter than my gas trimmer, but a little louder than some other battery or corded trimmers I have used in the past. The trimmer speed is variable as you increase pressure on the trigger switch, which is very helpful when trimming around objects that are more prone to breaking the line at higher speeds. This trimmer would be a perfect option for anyone who is looking for a quieter and lighter trimmer or someone who is concerned about the environment or having to deal with mixing oil and fuel like most gas trimmers do.

We love this string trimmer. I like it better than any of the others we have owned. One of the best features that this string trimmer has is you push a button and it will tell you how much battery you have left. We mowed our yard and still had 3 lights out of 4 left. You don't have to bump this string trimmer to get more line. They tell you not to bump it. It will damage the trimmer and void the warranty. It has a lot of power for those tall weeds. We found it to be very comfortable. The battery pack balances it out to make it easy to handle. I love the color of the string trimmer. I have never seen one in white before. All the controls are in easy reach while you are trimming. The assembly is easy and straight forward. We had it up and running in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this string trimmer. It doesn't wear you out and you can use it for an extended period of time without being exhausted. That in my opinion is worth the money. I had no idea that a string trimmer could be so easy. The instruction manual was easy to understand. It also offered cutting tips. One of the best tips that we read was to operate the trimmer from the right to left and that way you won't be throwing debris on yourself. We have had several different trimmers over the years and this exceeds all of them as far as power and comfort.

Hello! I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and I will be doing a review on The Hart 40v Cordless System Trimmer Kit. First, I would like to say that this trimmer is so very easy to assemble. It took me about 15 or 20 minutes to complete the assembly. The battery has a very good charge. I got a full charge in about two hours. I love the colored indicator that let's me know when it is charging and is ready for usage. This trimmer is very durable, light-weighted, and has a steady handle that gave me that firm grip I needed to start trimming. I also love that it is cordless so I can maneuver around in my yard without any difficulty. What I like best about this trimmer is the precise cutting. This trimmer cut down those weeds quickly and my yard edges looked great! I love the wide-open angle which gives me a chance to get close to those edges around the perimeter of my home, driveway, and the mailbox base area. I also love that power speed that allows me to spend less time in the yard trimming. Also, it does indeed have a very quiet motor. I am truly amazed about how well the Hart String Trimmer Kit trimmed my yard. It did indeed give it a thoroughly even cut. I can truly say it is amazing! I love it!

I recieved this product for my honest rating and review. I recieved 1-Hart brand 12" string trimmer kit. This kit includes 12" string trimmer, assist handle, 2.5Ah lithium-Ion battery, charger, .080" line and operator's manuals. This set is works great. I charged it during the night and took it to my mother's house and used it to edge her grass and trim down some tall weeds. It worked great and charged the entire time. I loved how it worked and the results it gave me so I rate it 5 out of 5.

This is my review of the HART 40-Volt Cordless 12-inch String Trimmer Kit (1) 2.5Ah 40V Lithium-Ion Battery, The very first thing after removing it from the package I didn't notice how well-made it was, if this is definitely a higher quality item. It was very easy to snap together and I was done about making it in about 15 minutes. This also came with the battery and the battery charger which seem extremely heavy duty. I waited for four hours to make sure it was completely charged up and ready to go, since it was my very first time using it. It really does the job I have no problem with the automatic string or trying to maneuver it between my house and a galvanized flower bed. It cuts very well and is not heavy to use. The one thing I really do like is the handle it's very comfortable and it's easy to move quickly through the cuts that you are doing.I definitely think Walmart has a winner on their hands with the new HART line.If you're looking to buy any type of garden equipment I would definitely look into the HART brand, As I am looking forward to buying the complete set for myself.

This is my first battery operated cordless trimmer and I love it. I thought this trimmer would be heavy and difficult to use but not so, its just the opposite, it weighs only 6.7 lbs. Its powerful and light weight I can easily trim weeds close to the fence with this 12” trimmer. This kit includes the 40v battery and charger. It has a variable speed trigger and a lock out button to prevent accidental starts. The battery charged quick for the first time and suppose to run for 2.5 hrs on one charge but I haven't run it that long yet. I have used this trimmer only a couple of times so far because its winter here and not many weeds but I plan to use it more often once spring arrives.

I received HART 40-Volt Cordless 12-inch String Trimmer Kit (1) 2.5Ah 40V Lithium-Ion Battery. At first I was convinced my husband would get the most use out of this but I was wrong, it has been me. I am in love with how great it feels as it is very lightweight. I really enjoy that I don't have to use a heavy and bulky  lawn mower and can trim my lawn in no time at all. It includes a charger and battery and I absolutely appreciate that the 40V battery is compatible with every other 40V Hart tool. I definitely recommend this product.

This is a review for the HART 40-Volt Cordless 12-inch String Trimmer Kit (1) 2.5Ah 40V Lithium-Ion Battery. This string trimmer is very light coming in just shy of 7 lbs. Do not be deterred by the lightness of this trimmer for your body will thank you for taking advantage of this. The trimmer comes apart right about center of the shaft with the handle guard and a spool already loaded with .080” string already loaded. The only tool you will need is a good phillips screwdriver and some hand strength. Assembly was straightforward and easy except one screw that holds the guard in place was a challenge to get seated. The included string is a spiral with crisp corners that will cut some tough thick grass much better than smooth round line. The kit also includes a 40v 2.5Ah battery as well as the charger. I do not know how long the first charge of the battery took to fully charge, I placed it on the charger, assembled the string trimmer then a couple of hours later the battery was fully charged. This trimmer is well balanced with provisions for a shoulder strap should you need on, I did not. Test time, let's see what it will do. I took the trimmer to a 40 ft. shed with almost knee high thick grass and cut a swath three feet wide the full 40 ft. length and never ran out of battery power. No more mixing oil and gas nor storing, no splashing it on anything. No more pulling over and over to start the trimmer. I like this trimmer and highly recommend this string trimmer.
