Previous I've only used homeowner type weed eaters etc. and had to replace them too soon, this one's faster and more powerful and the battery run time is longer, plus you can get many attachments for it. It's easy to remove one attachment and attach another.
While this is an awesome Trimmer, it has a problem. Removal of the trimmer's head to remove/replace broken line is simple yet Extremely difficult. But beyond that, this trimmer works like a champ.
This is great ! Even a 53yr old woman with arthritis can handle using this. Makes it great to quickly wack around the flower beds yourself, because knowing the "other half" would hit the flowers. Seems to have good battery life. Wish I would have bought this for myself a long time ago.
I researched a few different electric options I was gonna go with an ego..but after seeing the prices of their batteries I quickly changed my mind so since I already have some hart tools I went with the 40v supercharge %26 man am I happy it has all the power of my old gas trimmer with none of the headache no priming no choking no pulling slap in a battery %26 go to work..%26 it has a power setting low %26 high I cut down some serious weeds with this trimmer %26 never used the high option very very satisfied really good investment..if you are looking for a affordable trimmer with great power consider this one..a added plus is that the batteries aren't 300 dollars that's what really helped me decide to get the trimmer..I highly recommend
as much power as any gas trimmer that I have ever owned very happy with the producthart
This latest model is a better build than the previous model.
So far, so good. The charged battery lasts reasonably long to get an half hours of trimming done. It re-charges quickly.
Not the most powerful electric string timmer I have owned, but it does the job. Changing the line is a bit more difficult than I anticipated. That said, it will power through tough seedlings like bamboo and mimosa.
I have the older version of this, the brushless attachment capable which has started to give me some trouble so I decided to get the new version with carbon fiber shaft. I mean it seems a little more heavy duty, bur I guess I was expecting more. Power seems the same as the old one and the battery lasts about the same too. I think I will keep it since I have a bunch of their equipment, but I would probably buy the cheaper one if doing it over.
I've been happy with HART things before I got the hedge trimmer. I've got little vacuums. I've got all dander etc stuff, but this one was a big disappointment. I was excited about the carbon fiber because I'm 63 and I wanted ultra light one, but I wanted to be able to do things myself. I found the instructions almost impossible to follow. I didn't know where to put the handle. I couldn't figure it out so unless you know what you're doing I just luckily had a guy that was doing some work at my house that showed me where to put the handle and put it together for me. It was that difficult for me. The sad thing is I had already bought the Bush thing to attach to it and I'm too scared to take it apart be was such a pain in the butt to get it together I just wouldn't recommend this at all because not because it's getting out of quality thing. I'm sure it but if you live alone and you don't have a man there that is used a weedeater this is not a good starter weedeater, even though it seems like it cause it's carbon fiber. I'm just super disappointed in this / because it is done nothing but the first time I used it the string bump thing not only broke - it also came apart ( where to add attachments ) I specifically wanted “ attachment capable” %26 get thing to attach on this. It looks like a dream come true, but unless you're a man and already know you can just forget Harts , YouTube channel or anything for how to put things simply together if they couldn't have the paper and you would think on their YouTube channel, there would be some kind of a direction video showing you how to put this thing together, but there's not - there's just a bunch of hot music and a guy doing it and showing how powerful it is) why not put A SIMPLE “HOW TO PUT TOGETHER THE CARBON FIBER 40 V HEART TRIMMER “ Video? Why not figure that a lot of people that buy these HART Tools are people like me that are that want to try gardening I their later years ? I'm sure it's great if you already know how to use a string trimmer - if you're 63-year-old single woman like I am, it's just sitting in my garage . While I continue to pay (Lawn ) man to do it for me because I don't know how to work my own stupid weedeater !! I've made comments on the channel . I emailed them / no help at all with the paper that comes with. It is a joke so it's not beginner friendly at all now stuck with it because it's gone too long and I canf return i if and I never used it but one time before tstring trimmer came apart where you to add attachmenys . I have no children that live here in town so unless you've got a kid that can help you, you're not gonna know what the heck you're doing
