easy assembly, comes with the wrench to tighten the bolts but you will need a %232 Philips to tighten the screws for the chute. The rubber tipped auger grabs the snow very well and the scoop in the middle of the auger throws the snow out the chute effectively. the large wheels help it roll easily. took 45 mins to use 75% of the battery clearing powdered snow that was 5" deep and threw it 25ft, great for a single lane driveway.
love that it is light but does a wonderful job!! i got it because a coworker has one and recommended it as i was looking at other brands n sizes. the battery last for about 45 min to an hour depending on the amout of snow area.
I use Hart 40V tools for my home stuff. This is my first time ever using a snowblower and it met expectations for my use and I will not ever use a snow shovel again. This is a decent tool. It is a battery hog and I have multiple charged batteries on hand. It has good power and is light. It ripped through 10 inch packed snow that had a layer of ice, It then ran through 4 inch snow like nothing at all.
While we haven't had crazy snowfall totals this winter, this handy machine has had no trouble handling what nature has thrown at it so far. It even powers through the slushy mess at the end of my drive. The only knock against it is it doesn't throw snow all that far, but, my driveway isn't so big that it is an issue. The 6mAh battery lasts me for my whole driveway, front walkway, and 90 feet of sidewalk. I highly recommend this unit!
My over 60yr. old wife can use it with little to no effort and it WORKS GREAT!! WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL!
I didn't know how this one would be. I purchased it because I already have lots of batteries that work with it. We haven't had any deep snow yet but we have had a couple of inches that were very wet. It worked like a champ and I'm excited to see how it handles the deeper snow. I wanted a blower that wasn't to big so that I could get it past my car in the tight garage. I can move it to the front and back yard with easy and it's light. Oh and it has a light as well. Because it's so quiet I can remove snow without waking up my neighbors. So far very happy with the purchase.
After I received the snow blower, it was very easy to assemble the pieces together. It came with both a battery and its charger. I charged the battery and it took approximately 2 hours for a full charge. It's very lightweight and easy to push and manuever. It hasn't snowed in my area as of yet, but once it does, I plan to get it out and start using it. The blower attachment is located at the top of the machine and it can be moved to either side or straight forward, depending on where you want the snow to be thrown. Once I inserted the battery, I pulled the bar even with the handle, and then pushed the start button. It instantly came to life and was ready to go. I've owned other electric power tools and highly suggest that you store the battery and the charger in a warm area of either your house or if you have a heated garage, that would be fine. Cold batteries often don't function well. Also, I do suggest that when the snow blower is being stored, remove the battery until you need to use the machine again. The battery does have a green bar on it that shows the level of power left to be used. The main handle can be placed over the machine for easier storage to take up less space in crowded sheds or garages. Two blue levers at the bottom of the handle are pushed down and it releases the handle bar to go forward. To bring it back up and in position, just tighten back the 2 blue levers. It's a nice machine. Can't wait for my first snow to get it out and start blowing the snow away!
Its quiet and it works ok but it lacks the power to make it effective. I can shovel the snow in about half the time it takes to move it with this due to the lack of power. if you have wet or heavy snow youll likely need 2-3 batteries to do an average size town driveway.
I loved everything about the Hart snowblower, EXCEPT scraper bar on the bottom. I could not even push it. The machine kept getting jammed because it was hitting the concrete and didn't slide as it should. I kept backing up, trying again, same thing. I had my husband try it and he experienced the same thing. If this scraper bar could be raised or off completely it just might work, but way to hard for me to use. Also, the booklet said it's held on by 7 screws, there were only 2 screws on each side holding it on. I will be returning to Walmart. I do have the Hart shovel that I absolutely love, I'll stick with that.
my package was delivered and set on the sidewalk.and and my snow blower, I have no screws to put the snow blower together, and I have no brochure to the snow blower. i have checked the box twice
