Wow! I love this hedge trimmer!! I have an electric B&D 20” that I used for my tall clusia and other hedges and I honestly had more trouble doing the clusias with that tool than this one . Doing all my hedges was a breeze with this Hart hedge trimmer, it was easy to do straight cuts . It’s also surprisingly lightweight too. I charged the battery overnight and it lasted cutting all my hedges. And I’m a woman so that should tell you how lightweight it is :-) I would highly recommend this trimmer.

We have needed one of these for a long time. When moving into our new house I’ve had to do a ton of yard work because the previous owners let everything go. We have a set of shrubs in the front yard that a badly overgrown. I do all the yard work and fixing up and as a 30yr old women it was easy to handle. It took me a minute to find the actual directions but I figured it out. I like that it came with the blade cover and that it’s not to heavy. I can store it away in my shed with ease. I hope to use it a lot in the future to upkeep my shrubs. I also like that the blade is quite long so I have an easier time reaching the top of the shrubs and all the way to the back.

My husband and I were recently looking and shopping for a hedge trimmer. We decided to get the Hart 40V Brushless 26in Hedge Trimmer because, we thought it seemed to have an ample and generous amount of features. While setting up and testing out our new hedge trimmer, we found things we liked. My husband likes that, it is easy to start and use without having any issues or problems. He likes its multi angle abilities and capabilities because, he is able to handle and tackle small, medium and large jobs in our yard. I like how well built and useful this hedge trimmer is because, my family is going to get many and several uses out of it. Also, I like that, it has countless and numerous safety features on it. I strongly feel it was designed with consumers/customers safety and wellbeing in mind. Both my husband and I agree there is nothing we dislike about it because, it has met and exceeded our expectations of what a hedge trimmer should be. If given the opportunity, my family would highly recommend the Hart 40V Brushless 26in Hedge Trimmer. It is a handy and useful hedge trimmer that, is successful at serving its intended purpose.

I have collected just about every HART power tool there is and I have never been disappointed. I have had some for 3 years and still use them very often (my husband builds, and uses them too). This hedge trimmer was the perfect addition for our yard work. We have 6 boxwoods and it powered through them just fine. I was pleased with the battery life as well. There is no need to look elsewhere. This hedge trimmer will do the job. It's lightweight so it's easy for anyone to use.

This HART 40V cordless hedge trimmer is powerful and ergonomically designed so that the handle can rotate 180 degrees, giving you many options for angling the blade for your trimming task. It is comfortable to use, not too heavy, and easy to control. The charge lasted for the entire job we needed it for, and I suspect would have kept going for quite some time after. It made quick work of two out of control thorny barberry bushes. Just keep in mind the diameter limitations- you cannot use this to trim thicker branches more than about 1 inch. It came with the battery and charger, so everything you need is included. It is a great addition to our lawn care collection! It was actually really fun to use!

When you are at the store, you lose size perspective. So when I got this HART 40-Volt Cordless 26in Hedge Trimmer home and unboxed it, I thought it was meant for professional yard maintenance! The cutting blade is truly 26 inches long and can trim branches up to 1” thick. The one feature that I really like is the fact that the handle rotates around in both directions up to 90 degrees each way for a total of 180 degrees of adjustment. It is a smooth adjustment and not set in increments. This will save the user from having to twist at the wrist to get certain angular trimming cuts. Another brilliant idea that the Hart engineers did to minimize fatigue was to have the cutting blades moving in a dual action motion, kind of like an electric knife but facing away from each other. It is a world of difference from my corded orange and black hedge trimmer that tires out my wrists in minutes I got mine with the Hart 40-volt battery that is rated for 2.5 amp hours. I have not used it for that long yet because I give out before the battery does! But the great thing about this battery is that there are many more Hart products at Walmart that use this battery such as string trimmers, blowers, lawn mower, pole saw, pruner saw and blade edger. I’m hope that Hart will add more products in the future that use this same battery. Needless to say that I am impressed with the Hart 26 inch cordless hedge trimmer.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this trimmer. In the past I have always owned electric trimmers and hate to admit how many extension cords I have cut through while pruning my shrubs! Well I don't have to worry about that any more - no cord, wohoo!! This trimmer is much more powerful than I would have thought. It cuts through my shrubs like a knife through warm butter. I have quite a few shrubs that are "woody" and the branches (or whatever you call them) are quite thick. This trimmer handles them beautifully. Nice clean cuts with no shredding of the limbs. The cutting blade is nice and long (26") so you get a nice long swath when trimming. The battery lasts a lot longer than I would have expected. As I have a LOT of shrubs to trim (and here in North Carolina they have to be trimmed multiple times during our long growing season) I am planning of getting another battery to double my trimming time. Another nice feature is battery runs full tilt until it goes to a dead stop. The only drawback is that the battery and size of the trimmer does make it heavy as compared to electric. Guess I will have to do some weight lifting to build up my arm strength lol! Looking forward to getting many years of use out of this trimmer.

My new HART 40-Volt 26-Inch Cordless Brushless Hedge Trimmer with one 2.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery is such an improvement over my old corded trimmer. It has a longer, sharper, quieter cutting surface, and the blade will rotate 180 degrees, so no more uncomfortable, unsafe positions while operating this beauty. The battery does not gradually slow down as it is discharging. It will go until empty and then stop, therefore not putting undue pressure on the motor. It is a tool I will definitely recommend!
