My husband has gone through many different trimmers and what sets this one apart is how powerful it is! It rips through the weeds, bushes, and heavier areas like a breeze and its very easy to use. The battery also seems to last longer so he can get the entire yard done. Would definitely recommend if you need a heavy duty trimmer.

I have tried all the string trimmers. To say I am frustrated with them is a huge understatement. I think they are designed by men for men and to be understood by men. They don't feed, they are too long, and I am 6' tall. So many issues. I could go through all the brands. Especially the ones I hate. I am a master gardener and I am in my yard most days. Finally! I found a string trimmer I absolutely love and that says allot. It actually feeds, I can reload the string without extreme frustration it doesn't just blow through all the string, it lasts good long while. It is designed such that it is comfortable to use. It isn't too long, many brands are although I am 6' tall. The button is in the perfect comfortable place the safety is also super easy. The year is 2025 and with today's technology it is unbelievable that string trimmers are made the way they are these days. But this string trimmer is the standout, it is far and above all others . It is not overly heavy, the battery has no issues, it feeds, it doesn't eat the string, this tool is far and above dare I say far and above ALL of the other higher brands, which I have tried, This trimmer just works, it doesn't leave me frustrated. I was beginning to give up on string trimmers. Because it is so great I haven't had any need to contact customer service. But I can tell you customer service for the RY O brand is by my experience not good. So in conclusion save. yourself and just buy this string trimmer

I've been vehemently posted to battery powered lawn tools, but this has completely changed my mind. I get about 45 minutes of hard use out of one charge, so perfect for a single residence. It is easy to road string, and the bump feed is super smooth. Works great with attachments too!

I had purchased a brush less model last year and returned it because the speed control was hard to regulate. This one has brushes and it seems to be easier to control. There is some kind of soft start that takes a second for the head to spin up but it is far more responsive than the brush less one. The brush less ones spin faster and run longer but their awkward delay makes the brushed model a better choice for me. The only thing that really needs improved is if you get the string stuck in something, chain link fence for example, the drive would benefit from some kind of clutch so the head does not stop the motor from spinning instantly. I believe at some point this will cause some failure of the drive. Other than that, Battery Power is so much better than gas I can confidently say " I will never own another gas powered yard tool " the convenience and power of cordless tools is a game changer.

this grass trimmer is great. Please use this trimmer with a strap to support the weight You get carried away with the efficiency of trimmer that if you dont use a strap to support most of the weight of trimmer, you could be in for post trimming arm fatigue. Performance of machine is great. I am very pleased with speed and torque of trimmer. I recommend it.

My first thought when getting this weed trimmer was that there is no way this thing will be anywhere near the power of a gas trimmer. However, after using this thing for about 10 minutes... I was shocked at just how powerful it was. Absolutely just as powerful as a gas trimmer... with no big bulky gas tank and hot exhaust hanging out of the back either! I have to say that I was impressed with the construction, slender design, and balance it had. The 40 V battery hangs in the back and has some weight to it for sure, but no heavier than the gas. Something else that is awesome about thus trimmer..is that it’s also compatible with an old Ryobi trimmer attachment that I had kept. That was a great bonus for me! My one concern with this trimmer or any equipment that uses a lithium ion battery, is the quality, the maintenance that’s involved, and how long it will last over time. In my experience, some can be very finicky, and sometimes the charger itself...can slowly kill one of these types of batteries. Heat kills batteries, and on this application, the battery has a longer load time then other typical applications, such as a drill or saw. Only time will tell. In my opinion, I think this trimmer is perfect for me, or anyone who has a decent size yard with a few flowerbeds, and is tired of dealing with gas and oil mixtures.

Straight out of the box, 15 mins of use and it’s pouring smoke. 3rd one in a row to do the same thing. Keep sending them, I’ll keep using them and reviewing them. Would love to hear from Hart.

I have a picture of the Hart 40v weed eater that was supposed to have included an edger attachment that I bought and the edger attachment didn’t come with it. When I read the reviews I realized this had been an issue with a lot of other customers. I had originally ordered it for pick up at a nearby store but after I placed the order I was told it was not available at the store and it would have to be shipped. Don’t forget I have a picture of the original order bc then it was changed %26 it doesn’t show the edger attachment. I think the nearby store that was supposed to have had it in stock either never had it in stock or were told to take them off the shelf when Hart realized the mistake they had made and didn’t want to honor it. Either way I was considering ordering a Hart battery operated push lawnmower that cost over $300.00 after tax was added if I can get the edger sent to me also. I don’t want to reorder either just send the edger to me because in the reviews the customers said the issue was never resolved. Make it right with your customers please.

The machine did not stand up to its potential this is the second one I purchased from and they both burned out the first one lasted about two months the second one lasted for a week , and a grinder that’s not working promptly,so I won’t be purchasing anything else from HART company . Thanks for nothing but you have a nice day.

First use was great except for short battery life the second time I used it the battery started smoking will be returned
