HART 40-Volt Cordless Brushless 20-inch Push Mower Kit, (1) 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery

I was nervous at first after I bought this but when it came in the mail and I used it for the first time I fell in love this thing is great and so glad I took the chance to give it a try I'll never go back to gas again... Just like all my other tool HART is the way to go

Omg. I will never use another gas powered mower after using this. I am so happy I decided to get it. This is light years ahead of any gas powered mower on the market. Battery life was going to be my only concern but I have an urban neighborhood lawn and it mowed both front and back yards with 1 battery charge and still had plenty of juice left. The bagger works excellent. The lock/unlock feature to allow you to store it standing up is next level! Takes up almost no space at all. Its so much quieter than a traditional mower. Cuts the grass just as good as anything Ive ever used. Its so lightweight I was able to pick it up with 1 hand holy crap! No funky gas storage and smells, just freshly cut grass smell. Lawn mowing is no longer a chore its a joy with this amazing tool. I can use any of my batteries from my other hart tools as back up which is a huge bonus! I have 0 bad things to say about this mower! Gotta love the future man!

I love this mower. I am a recent widow whose husband took care of all the garden equipment though I did all the gardening. He maintained our good old mower and started it for me but now I have to do those things. Well, I can start this one easily and don't need to fuss with oil or gas. It cuts beautifully and has never run our of energy with my small lawn. Besides that it is as cute as a bug's ear.

We had wanted to venture into the area of battery powered lawn equipment for some time and are so glad we finally took the leap. This Hart Lithium-Ion Battery powered push mower is awesome! Taking it out of the box it looked very futuristic - I mean think Transformers here. We kept waiting for it to reconfigure itself and stand up and start talking to us. It is a very attractive mower to the point we hesitated to use it at first because we didn't want to get it dirty by actually using it. But we finally did and it rocked. The first thing about it is that set up is super easy out of the box. And starting it is super easy too. Love that it has onboard storage for the battery when not in use and they even had the smarts to add an extra storage compartment in case you want to keep an extra battery onboard. This mower is so quiet compared to gas powered mowers - I mean the noise level is just - wow! The blades are made of metal just like gas powered mowers and the cut this mower makes is just awesome. We have a small area of our yard fenced off for our dogs (probably a little less than 1/4 of an acre) and I was able to cut that area in slightly less time than it normally takes with our gas powered push mower. Not sure about battery life because I didn't use it for that long but it worked well at full power while I used it. Very pleased with this lawn mower. Knowing we are helping the environment by lessening our carbon footprint with such a truly awesome lawn mower is - well, awesome! You won't regret purchasing this truly awesome lawn mower!

40V Brushless 20" Push Mower Kit has absolutely changed my life and saved me some money. No more paying a man $100 for mowing a 25 ft by 45 ft yard at the lake where our camper is. I was looking for something simple like this to cut the grass. Well Brushless had developed a battery-powered mower with the convenience of no cords, no gas cans or fumes and a extremely quite motor with more power and longer life time. The battery is included with this mower and it seems to last a long time plus it's got it own storing compartment which is convenient.  The body of the mower is very attractive it reminds me of a kids motorized car but full of power. Moving the mower around was easy even when turned off .There is a single point height adjustment which is easy to adjust several different settings. Its even got lights that run in case it starts getting dark which allows you to finish your yard. The grass catcher bag was easy to assemble and install, if you want to use it Which is a option . The Battery life is great, I finished my yard on a single charge. This 20 inch mower is great for yards up to a acre. Best yet you dont have to pull a cord to start all you just is just push a button. And with Brushless technology it provides consistent power without bogging down, and extended motor life for many seasons to come. I really appreciate the folding storage design too. I recommend this 40V Brushless Push Mower Kit to all that has a small yard and the elderly so they dont have to pull on the string. My neighbors are jealous but I may share so they can see the conscience this mower is to us.

I have it for a week and a half and I really needed this as it's been two weeks since my grass was cut and I have a very tough HOA in SC. For one thing, I am extremely satisfied by the refurb as there is NO physical damage to the product. It was well packaged, I didn't care that it wasn't in original manufacturer box as the box was thrown out anyway. The order came with a battery so make sure you read carefully before you purchase the item unless you already have batteries. I have .36 acres, front is slightly sloped and side of the property is flat, the backyard is on a 40/45 degree slope. Battery lasted 35 minutes to take care of front and side with 1 battery light remaining. I didn't do the back yard. Awesome product, thank you so much Walmart

It cuts grass fine and it is nice to not have to go out and buy gas for the mower, but it always dies before I finish mowing my property (about 1/5th of an acre) and then I have to bring it inside to cool down before I put it back on the charger, otherwise the battery won’t charge.

I really wanted to like this, using it through June and July. I was tired of having to run and buy gas, change oil, and after a few years tear the whole thing apart and change out gaskets. I was ready for a change. I was completely sold by the marketing and was immediately disappointed. It says it has the power of gas, but it's not even close, it was constantly being bogged down in thick grass with the wheels at the third highest setting. I had to walk slowly or risk stalling (I can walk as fast as I want with a gas mower). The overall feel was very cheap since it's mostly made of plastic, you can't be very aggressive with it like a metal mower. The hooks that hold on the are also plastic and I doubt they'll last five years. It is quiet, around the same as a vacuum cleaner, probably the greatest benefit it has. The idea that it can do a 1/2 acre on one battery is some sort of joke. My lawn is about 1/2 an acre and under ideal conditions, mowing only a week after the last mow, the included battery couldn't do even half my lawn, I had to use a second 4ah battery that came with my Hart string trimmer to finish the job. Under non-ideal conditions just forget it. I hadn't been able to mow in a few weeks because of it raining on my days off (I work 12 hour night shifts so I can only mow on my evenings off) so the grass was pretty high, around 7" today. The two batteries together only did about 1/4 of my lawn, partly because it was high, but partly because the batteries were overheating. When a gas mower stops you add more gas, when an electric mower stops you have to add an extra battery, but you can't buy an extra battery, I already had an extra advantage having a slightly shorter running battery from the trimmer and it didn't come even close to being enough. Five batteries probably wouldn't have been enough. I had to go back to my 11 year old gas mower to finish the job and it did a much better and faster job at it to boot. This mower would never last 11 years and I can't even tell if the 5 year warranty is real because the box only boasts a 3 year warranty all over it with no mention of 5. In the end I'm returning the mower. If you just have a small urban lot with some grass on it it's probably perfect. But if you have an actual lawn that requires some real power stick with a gas mower you can get a great self propelled bagging mower for the same price or less. Photo shows my lawn after two batteries, the mowed patch is smaller than it looks. Height was set at third highest, around 3" or so.

I got the delivery yesterday. To be honest the plastic cladding and the package looked decent, but the lawn mower felt like a kid's toy car with all the plastics everywhere to keep the price down. Packaging was good, although the packaging was open from bottom when delivered. Setting up was not too difficult. Using this needed a bit of learning curve and a call to the customer service. Now the lawn mowing experience- 1. The grasses had grown a bit, so with mid level height setting (3") the lawn mower struggled with a fully charged battery. 2. Cutting was not bad but the motor seemed under powered and would stall in the mid run and I had to wait a bit to allow it to recover. 3. It didn't last for 40 Min as advertised, actually it probably lasted for 20 min max. At this rate I would probably take a couple of weeks to finish mowing my lawn and then it would be time to start all over again. The only reason to buy it would be if you have a super tiny lawn the size of a bed room. The photos would show how much it mowed.

Worked great for the first 15 minutes with a fully charged battery. After that mower shut off very frequently and before I could finish my small yard the mower would only run for 30 seconds at a time. I fully recharge the battery and tried again. I had the same results consistently. I am returning my mower. Maybe I received a dud?
