HART 40-Volt Cordless Brushless Backpack Blower Kit (1) 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery

This is a great brushless, cordless backpack blower. It took about ten minutes to put together from start to finish, and the steps were simple. The pack is comfortable and only moderate in weight. The battery lasts about 30 minutes at constant power. But, I would recommend purchasing the second battery for additional usage time. Still, the brushless motor means it lasts longer and has a more efficient battery life. The blower has more than enough horse power, especially when using the two minute boost. Even when using the boost option, it is extremely quiet, almost silent. You can blow the leaves off your driveway at nine o'clock at night and none of your neighbors will be mad. It's a great alternative to a gas blower. I give it two thumbs up.

I picked up this leaf blower a few months back as I was in the market for a backpack leaf blower, after looking at all of the options out there I decided on the Hart over the Ryobi one. All around it's a great product and very easy to use, has great power, and even came with a battery. I do also like that you can get a 2nd battery for extended run time. The only complaint I have is the weight of the unit, but then again I would much rather carry the weight on my back as opposed to holding all of the weight in the hand and walking around. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you are in the market for a backpack blower.

I would give it more than a 5 star if I could...I totally love this thing.... I have ordered a second battery for it... First thing I did after opening the box was get the battery charging.... Blower is very easy to use and has plenty of POWER. I am a 65 year old woman , if I can use it, you can... I love using it... The cruise control on it is awesome … Not having to deal with gas, pull starting, and a lot of noise are great advantages of using this cordless backpack blower. Since it is battery powered you also don't have to deal with an extension cord as you work your way around trees. I was surprised by the quietness of the engine. Assembling the blower tube was fairly simple with two brackets and 4 screws. The only hard part was pushing the flexible connector in place between the motor and the tubes. I received this item as a spark reviewer. After opening it and charging the battery we were able to use it right away. My husband put it together in a matter of minutes. It’s really easy to use, no pull string, no gas to deal with and surprisingly was pretty quiet. We have a handheld one and it is really loud so we were expecting this one to be louder but it’s not. You can turn it on and leave it on until you are done. I’m a small petite woman and it wasn’t difficult for me to carry it but it was a lot easier for my husband to use! I totally recommend it.

Hart Team Second Battery is absoluthly required to finish the job. Quality is ok, but the 5 Ah battery capacity is low for the job, do not blow the good reputation of the product is really good the problem is the low capacity of the battery, or you increase the capacity of the battery or you have to offer a better price for the second battery...is too expensive!! I can found several "options" on ebay for the half of the price

Overall, this Backpack Blower Kit does what It is intended to and has an efficient amount of power to provide yard maintenance. If you live in an area surrounded in trees, you will want to invest in an additional battery, which can be added to the machine’s second battery chamber. First things first, assembly was easy and not complicated. It is noticeably lighter and quieter than a gas-powered machine and sets well in comfort on the back. The Lithium-Ion battery that comes with the machine takes about 3-4 hours to charge from empty to full and provides approximately 40 minutes of use, utilizing the ‘Power Boost’ option intermittently. Ultimately, the Hart Cordless Brushless Backpack Blower Kit will make a great addition to my fall weekend maintenance routine.

Very powerful in 2 minute boost mode; about 15 minutes of run time per battery in this mode which is a must for my property. The length, girth, awkwardness of hoisting the unit onto my back makes it feel like a lot more than the 21.8 lb listed weight. It is manageable once secured to my back. I recommend with the aforementioned caveat - you must be a fairly stout person to enjoy working with this tool.

easy to put together. really good for small yard work. only draw back is i wish the boost would be able to keep on or off when having both batteries in.

I bought this leaf blower based on a Hart snow blower I own. The snow blower is heavy duty, overbuilt and comes with great instructions so I was thinking the same for the leaf blower. I couldn't have been more wrong. While it does the job (thus the 3 stars) there are many things not to like about this blower. First of all the instructions are horrible. While there isn't much to putting it together, I had to watch a YouTube video by someone else to figure it out. The blower tube is made of pretty cheap plastic not much thicker than a margarine tub. Once together that is it. No taking it back apart. This thing weighs a LOT even without batteries. Run time is less then ideal even using its 5 amp battery and the 6 amp battery that came with the snow blower. Couldn't quite finish a 5,000 sq ft lawn which is not very big. Big disappointment is it stops running after about 10 minutes and has to sit and cool down. Hard to understand how the one power tool with by far the most air flow of any could overheat. Have to think that it is quite an engineering feat. The charger is so wimpy, I am afraid to use it. It is about 1/4 the size of my snow blower charger and probably does not have a fan like my snow blower charger does. Had I known its drawbacks, I would not have bought it. Can't ship it back because I can't take it apart. Probably why they made it that way. I can highly recommend the snow blower but not this leaf blower.

Doesn't work, then works, then doesnt work, then works. One battery or two, doesnt matter. Tried giggling the control wire to see if it was loose, nothing. Just got it and now returning.
