HART 40V Brushless 14” Battery Powered Chainsaw, Automatic Oiler, On-Board Tool Storage

My died in the wool gas powered elderly saw user hubby loves this saw! ( even tho he insisted he did not want a battery one). Because he could no longer pull the cord to start his saw I sent for this one. It has power to cut through large trees and is easy for him to handle in spite of the longer blade. It does not take a long time to recharge and the battery has a good life. It is a good investment. Granted we have not had it long enough to comment on life span .

I already like Hart products, so this was a simple choice. I read reviews for it anyway though. Some people complained about the length of the blade. It's fine. It works great and I don't intend on chopping down large trees or redwoods, so the length is fine. It cuts great, fast and efficiently. You will need chain oil, which you do have to buy separately. I have found when buying Hart tools, like drills, batteries and chargers are separate. It's a shame, but at least this comes with both. Easy maintenance. Pop the battery in and go. Has a safety button so it just doesn't go on if you accidentally hit the trigger. Nice safety feature. Worth the purchase.

Great took the tree in my back yard was really tall I had a 12ft ladder and had to get 25ft later and a 15 foot extension saw also hart brand got the job done in a weekend the only downside was I did wear out the chain, but I cut the whole tree into a little pieces so it was well worth it. It was a massive tree.

One of the benefits of this is the battery. The charge lasts, and has plenty of power. I was wanting the 16", but they were out of stock so i settled for the 14"...still impressed and gets the job done. It makes work quick without worrying about fuel and pull starting.

I'm a woman who owns a home and all the headaches that come with it. Here in an empty nest I hire someone who was very expensive to cut back all my trees as requested by the city. You would think cutting trees would include the removal of said branches. Apparently I assumed wrong! I called the city to remove them they refused due to me having power lines on my side of the street. Here I am with a pile of branches almost 5 feet tall same height as me. After my second threatening letter from the city I literally overnighted this chainsaw. I had never touched anything like this in my 45 years on earth. I carefully read the directions included. Found out I need special oil so got that delivered in an hour. About a day and a half later some pretty sore arms I had cut all that stuff into fire log size and was enjoying my fire pit. I definitely recommend this chainsaw!!

I love the Hart brand products! I really like that the batteries are interchangeable with other Hart products and as an older woman, I don't have to mess with gas. After a storm knocked down a huge tree, I purchased this chainsaw. This chainsaw cuts like butter and I didn't get any kickback. Best purchase I've made!

this review would have been five stars. it is a great tool and does exactly what it's needed to do. out of the box. it's super sharp and does a darn good job. My only issue with the chainsaws it did not come with the tool that it said it was going to come with. I reached out to hart. received an email back. pretty much telling me to contact Walmart or look on Walmart's website. I contacted the call center for hart and they told me that there was nothing they could do. I just needed to return it. so all in all I was really hoping they could just lead me to where I could buy the exact tool for the chainsaw and they could not. other than that the tool is great.

had a tree fall across my driveway and had to get a chanlinsaw delivered. I paid a little over $100 for the Hart 40v cordless chainsaw. I have low expectations, but it cut up the tree just fine. I was very shocked at its power. the only downside to it is the battery life. It didn't last long under heavy seeing. HOWEVER, if you are already invested in or plan to invest in the Hart series, the chainsaw is definitely a must buy.

Ordered in chainsaw … open box 30 minutes after delivery ,,, box was punctured in the side … but took was ok , however battery that came with tool is dead and will not take a charge… 24 hours later and following instructions to charge battery but, still flashes error code will not charge😩😩😩😡😡😡

I got this to handle a downed tree in my yard. It has a 14-inch bar but struggles to handle an 8-inch tree limb. One pass through the 8-inch tree limb used half of the battery. It has an automatic oiler feature and yet was constantly overheating, causing the job to take exponentially longer due to cool-down time before the battery would even start recharging. Overall, I was making faster progress with the hand saw than with this.
