I used these to trim ones and small unwanted trees growing in the flower bed. i was able to cut easily through woody stems as thick as my thumb with no problem.
THEY WORK GREAT, MUCH BETTER THAN MOST !!!
Easy to use and is very sharp!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5/8" Anvil Pruner is a cut above the rest.. Seriously.. with the Long Lasting Titanium Coated Blade, this pruner will for sure outstand the competition. It fits very comfortable in my hand with a thumb lock easily accessible. This particular pruner cuts branches and stems up to 5/8". I cut some dead branches off bushes around the property and had no issues at all. Nice Clean cuts each time. This also has limited lifetime waranty as well. Overall well put together and highly recommend!
Although the Hart's brand anvil pruner is not perfect I find that they work better and longer than the Fisk brand pruner. I say that because the jaws and the blade bend out of alignment in both products however the Harts brand is superior in it's design.
only thing I'm not too crazy about is the fact that you have to clean out the debris or debris in the cutter itself it's kind of hard or difficult need some kind of a brush or something clean after each use which is kind of difficult or inconvenient. but overall it does the job.
everything was in stock and was delivered on time
I like these, however too small for a lot of my needs! Sharp and work well on small branches of trees, bushes!
why would you want a branch clipper for only dead or dry branches? you cannot cut live branches with this. there is only one blade that is metal, the other is plastic?? bad design.
this did not have a clean cut for any type of plant i used it on.
