HART Cordless 20-Volt 1/2-inch Drill/Driver (Battery Not Included), Gen 2

I really like this newer version of this drill. It is noticeably smaller than the original version at the top where the motor would be, yet still the same power if not more. The price of these Hart tools are really affordable and their reliability saves me from having any buyer remorse at all.

I purchased this HART drill to replace my old DrillMaster that I had for about 9yrs, which finally gave out. Not due to the drill going bad, but because the only battery I had for it wouldn't take a full charger after any longer. But, 9yrs of constantly charging isn't bad TBH. Anyway, I have many different types of HART lawn products (electric mower, 10" chainsaw, edger/trimmer and blower) and they all perform flawlessly and are well worth the price for each unit. I'm sure this drill will last me many, many years and the nice thing is that it is compatible with my other 20v battery products. I use this drill for all types of uses, drilling screws and also for sharpening my HART electric mower blade. I 100% recommend this product, or any HART products, for that matter!

It works great, I have many art tools, and I leave them to be sufficient quality to handle all of my working around the house and farm. I definitely recommend this drill/driver.

GOOD PRICE AND THE DRILL HAS PLENTY OF POWER

Got a kit with 5 tools in it and 2 were drills. 3/8 %26 1/2” haven't used either one very much at all but the 3/8” gears stripped while drilling the 3rd of 5 1/4” holes. I bought another one but 1/2” haven't used it yet but it's a 2nd gen so we'll see. All the other tools I've got that are hart have worked really well.

This is a replacement for the one that I was able to use about 9-11 times before the clutch gave out. Upon arrival, the drill locks up and sparks when releasing the trigger. In other words it locks up with a "clank" when you stop drilling. That's not good. It's junk...
