HART Multiple Drive 275-Piece Mechanics Tool Set, Chrome Finish

If you’re into reasonable/intense mechanics, this is a great tool box. It has pretty much all the tools you’ll ever need with the lock/easy unlock ratchets. It includes both impact and regular sockets. The chrome finish looks very decent and they come in a tough tool box. Any other traditional brand would cost two or three times more, so I’m very happy with my tool case…Recommended!!!

This tool set is fantastic! 90 tooth ratchet is smooth with a wider range of functional movement. Sockets are nicely etched and are manufactured very well. The storage case came with the drawer locks broken but I would of removed them anyway. I have a smaller set like this and the drawer locks are very tight. I really like how you can pull the drawers right out and have them where your working. My absolute favorite feature is you don't get a overly bloated set with hundreds of alen wrenches or screw driver bits. There are the perfect amount that will get 99% of the jobs done. Another extremely pleasant surprise is this set came with impact sockets and adapters!!! I absolutely love this feature because some jobs just need a impact to break things free. I have been collecting tools for about 30 yrs working as an appliance tech, computer tech a HVAC tech and a small engine mechanic. This has become my go to set because the quality, variety and well sorted storage make it more likely to have and be able to find what you need.

This set of tools is pretty awesome. I can't think of a tool that I would need that is not in this box! The box itself is very well made and very durable. The amount of tools that come in this set is amazing. Every since tool has its own place and it is snapped in very well to where nothing can move or fall out of place when moving around the box. All of the tools seem to be very well made and seems like they will last me a very long time. The box is pretty heavy when everything is in it, so be aware of that if you are wanting to move it around. Overall I am very pleased with this.

Having been a a.s.e certified specialist for Chrysler for +30 years I can honestly say this kit has the tools that any homeowners will need. I've been bringing tools from work to home for year's but with this set I no longer need to! The case is very and I mean very durable and the tools closely resembles snap-on tools. The ratchet handles are smooth and fit your hand just right, I'm really impressed with the magnet in the screwdriver. I have never used one that had a magnet that strong before. The kit is very well designed and has a location for every single tool that firmly holds them in place.

Great tool set for the money. I waited until I had used them several times to give it a review. All the s have a great feel I would compare them to any top name brand tools. I only thing I wish the box had a another drawer that was empty for the hart screwdriver set I bought at the same time. I love that everything has its own place so you know if there is a tool missing plus it has drawer locks to keep them opening while carrying it

I was in need of a new tool set and ordered the HART 275 Piece Mechanic Box set. When I opened the box that the tool set was shipped in, I pulled the tool set out and both of the plastic latches that hold the trays in were laying in the box. I was able to snap one of the latches back in but the other latch was broken (see picture). The plastic pins that hold the latch in place on the tool box were broken off. The latch does snap in which still works to hold the trays in place... it just doesnt stay attached to the tool box. The tool case is sturdy and not flimsy... the mold seems solid. I opened the top lid of the tool set and was like WOW! These tools look and feel like quality tools. The size engraved on the sockets are large and easy to read. The set comes with 3/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch drives and sockets. There are also impact sockets that come with the set. The set has both standard and metric sizes. The allen wrench set is okay but would have been great if they were longer. There are all different kinds of specialty bits in the set, too. All of the tools are snapped in the mold very snug... you wont have to worry about the tools falling out of their place. The tool set is heavy and you can carry it with the handle on the top or you can use two hands and carry the set with the molded handles on the sides. The handle on the top is okay for people with average hands but if you have big hands you may find it a little snug. Overall, besides the broken latch, this is a very nice tool set and came with everything I would need. The tools do what they are supposed to and function nicely. The tool set also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, which to me, states that these tools are a quality product.

Hart 275pc Mechanics Tool Set wasn't what I expected. I thought it would contain the basic essential tools. Something like screwdrivers and wrenches. Boy was I wrong. This toolset has a little bit of everything a person can use and more. The Tools inside the Hart 275pc set are stored inside a heavy-duty black case that has 4 rows to store the many sockets and wrenches that come with this kit. When I opened the latch to get inside the case, they fell off and I haven't been able to reattach them. The latches are very important, they keep the kit from opening and prevent the tools from spilling out. The toolset weighs about 50lbs. With broken latches, I couldn't lift the case by the handle situated on the top of the case. As far as the tools in this 275pc set, there are many tools to work with. I consider myself as being a novice when it comes to working with tools, but I'm impressed with the variety that comes in the kit. There are sockets, rackets, wrenches, screwdrivers in different sizes. Along with other pieces that I'm not familiar with. So much to work with. I would recommend this toolset to someone more experienced and familiar with these types of tools. Wouldn't recommend this to someone who is a novice like me.

I used to be a mechanic back in the day and still am a car enthusiast. This set is great because everything that you would need for everyday common repairs is included! There are even deep sockets with a wide range of sizes. This set includes both metric and standard sizes. The case makes it a convenient and organized package. I would give it 5 stars but the 2 flaps that hold the drawers in place so they dont unintentionally come out during transport broke off during shipment. Other than that it is a pretty sturdy tool box made of a hard tough plastic.

I like the carry case, even though the little flaps that hold the drawers in broke right away. It keeps everything in it's place and the handle is comfortable if you need to carry it. Not gonna lie...it's pretty heavy so you're not going to want to lug this around a lot. I plan to keep it in my truck as an emergency tool kit. The tools seem well made and should hold up to normal duty. I wouldn't expect Snap-On or even Craftsman quality but certainly good enough for typical use.

PROS: Great selection of tools Tools stay in place during transport Nice addition of drawer but poor design **see under cons love the impact wrench CONS: Had the item shipped and literally it was the product put in a box without any cushion. The piece designed to hold the drawers in place during transport is on a plastic dowel and the piece broke off in shipping. There is still one side that didn't break and can still hold it but this was a needless mistake and poor design. More thought should have been put into the design of the top drawer in respect to the latches. As you can see in the picture then drawer can't be shut without holding both latches up. Without 3 hands it is a bit annoying. Overall it received a 4 instead of 5 stars due to the poor design.
