HART Plier Stapler

This stapler works very well on a thick stack of papers. I do quite a few things where I need to fasten such stacks, and this is the first stapler I've owned that can handle them. It does not come with staples, and regular desktop stapler staples do not work. I am attaching a pic of the staples I bought to use with it. It does require a good bit of hand strength, but it works! Mission accomplished!

I really like this stapler for heavy jobs and packets. The only issue and the reason that I gave it only 4 stars is because it takes smaller staplers than the standard ones. I had to go out and buy 3/4' staples to fit as opposed to the standard office staples.

I was excited to receive this HART Plier Stapler and wanted to see if it really had a 30 sheet capacity... When I opened it I realized no staplers came with it... Not even to try it... I tried the normal stapler staplers but no it did work, so I went to Walmart few days ago and bought the 1/4" light duty staples the package said this stapler drives... I came home and tried it... and Yes it did work well with the 30 sheets... :) The stapler seems really well made and durable... It is all metal construction for long lasting durability... It has a really nice appearance as well. I thought it wasn't going to be able to stand on a flat surface but it does! I'll upload some pictures to show y'all... The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating and not 5 is because it should come with at least a few staplers so it can be used as soon as we open it. Overall Great Product and Yes I Highly Recommend it! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

The Hart Plier Stapler is very easy to use for stapling documents together. The handle gives you plenty of leverage to staple large amounts of documents. I had no issues stapling over 20 pages together. This stapler did not take the standard size staples that I had on hand for my other office staplers, so I had to purchase 1/4" staples to fit in the stapler. One drawback I noticed was that I was unable to staple any documents onto my cork board located above my desk or flat surfaces. I think this was a fair trade off in order to use this stapler for large piles of documents. All in all I was very satisfied and rate this product 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought the staples that are suppose to work in the stapler but I could never get the stapler to work. This stapler is no longer sold by Walmart so no replacement can be sent. I am stuck with non-working stapler and staples that don't work with stapler. VERY fustrating!

Everything LOOKS great on this, but i haven't been able to use this product, for one simple reason - cannot find the right size staples that will fit this stapler. I have spend countless hours trying to find the right size staples, and tried about 7 different brands and sizes - none fit. It should not be this hard to find staples. The packaging states this uses light duty staples, however, none of the staples i have tried fit They are all a tiny bit bigger than the track so I cannot place the staples in the track. I checked HART website, there is no information on this stapler on this site. In short, I am not sure what to look for when I buy staples. With out staples, this is just a paper weight

Not only are staples not included but normal sized staples don't fit. I was excited to have something my daughter could use to make her own books - this product is a complete waste for me! Read details better than I did and get something better.
