got these for my cat around 2 years ago shortly after i first adopted her, she never played with any toys till these shes obsessed i cut the bell off bc the sound freaked her out a bit but now shes used to bell sounds and i need to get her new ones as the ones shes had are falling apart from constamt playing

My cat loves to play with these. They are the perfect size. They stand up well to play.

From the moment I opened the package, my cats were interested in the Hartz Cattraction Bell Mouse. Two came in a pack, which was purrfect for my two little beasts! Our older cat, Ollie, is a big toy lover. He adores mice and anything with catnip in it. Our youngest, Molly, is playful but hasn't shown a big interest in toys...until these mice came along. Initially, I let them each see and play with both, then I assigned each a mouse. Ollie got the purple and Molly got the blue. Ollie took his mouse to his bed and destroyed it. He has torn the nose off and unraveled the yarn that went around the plastic piece to make the mouse's body. Molly has bitten the tail off of hers. So, while they were torn up within a day, I still rate them 5 stars because they made my cats very happy and my cats still adore them, even in pieces. These mice are their absolute favorite toy! As for me, I love that they have catnip in them, are very cute, and have kept my furry, meowing beasts pretty happy since they arrived. I received this from Hartz in exchange for my honest review. Pull the tail and the Hartz Cattraction scurries away. It doesn't go far, only about afoot or so.This confuses my fearless hunter who is not used to prey running from her. o she backs away and hides ready for a sneak attack. You could say that this is educational because my cat has had to come up with a new hunting tactic.Watching her interplay with this toy is priceless. My cat played with these mice but wasn't a fan of the bells on the tails of the mice. I think she would be really excited if they were smaller too, she likes to carry toys in her mouth and these are way to big. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We rescued a stray, he's still scared of people but loves these! Easy to hear and see in the dark. Our other 2 cats couldn't care less about these though lol So I guess if you have a shy cat it's worth a shot?

My cat played with it for a full 5 minutes and then threw it in the corner and it has been sitting there since.
