Hartz Groomer's Best Conditioning Shampoo, 18 Fl Oz

this is the best dog shampoo I've used. it suds up really well and rinses out well too. my Rosie June smells so good after bath time and her coat is soft and shiny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hartz Groomer’s Best Conditioning Dog Shampoo has been amazing for my wirehaired Mini Dachshund. Anyone with this coat type knows it can get a little rough, wiry, and prone to dryness, but this shampoo completely changed that. After just one wash, my pup’s coat felt noticeably softer while still keeping that natural wire texture (which is super important!). It didn’t flatten or over-soften the coat, just made it healthier, shinier, and easier to manage. Brushing has been so much smoother, and there’s way less tangling. I also love how gentle it is. My Mini Dachshund has extremely sensitive skin, and this shampoo caused no irritation. Plus, the clean, fresh scent lasts without being overwhelming. Overall, this shampoo is a perfect fit for wirehaired breeds. It keeps their coat looking natural but feeling conditioned and healthy. Definitely a go-to for keeping my little dachshund looking his absolute best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog decided to play and roll in the melting snow while outside today. Not only was there snow and water but pure mud. This was his delight as I think he thought he was at a spa getting his mud bath. Boy was he wrong! We got him inside to use the tub with water and of course the Hartz Extra Gentle Shampoo. This smelt really good as he had fluffy clean hair after being washed. I could truly see his fr was actually kind of shiny. It must’ve been that mud bath, followed by Hartz Extra Gentle Shampoo.

He has super sensitive skin and is starting to shed pretty heavily this season, so I was a little nervous trying something new but this worked great. It didn’t irritate his skin at all, which is a huge win for us. His coat felt noticeably softer and looked really shiny after his bath. What surprised me most was how much easier it made brushing him afterward, it definitely helped loosen up his shedding coat. The shampoo lathers nicely without being harsh, and the tropical breeze scent smells really good without being overwhelming. I also love the bottle design, it’s easy to grip and dispense, even when things get slippery during bath time. Overall, this is a great option if your dog has sensitive skin but still needs something that cleans well and helps with shedding. I’ll definitely be using it again!

It left her with a faint floral smell that was more pleasant. Suds nicely and definitely cleaned her right up. She has very short hair and it does feel softer now. I was surprised by how quickly it squints out of the bottle so I felt like I used more than I needed. That was the only flaw I noticed.
