Works as expected, except I had to return these. Only because I wasn't paying attention when I ordered and this have a slight lavender scent that my rescue pup will run away from. Not certain what happened to him in his previous life, but lavender and liliac smells, sprays sending him running with his tail between his legs. I can only imagine someone was spraying this scent in his face as a scolding method. Poor baby. Anyhow I have used this brand in th e past and I do like them, just unscented.

My two Chi's won't use any other pad instead of these lavender pads , one recommended that I would give is to upgrade the xl to be the large and go up on the size. I think that the large are lost too small even for a puppy or a small size dog given the quality of the pad, the wetness put out for pups and small breed is still too much for the large size . I had to start with an xl just being that the large size pad does not suffice. Upgrade the Xl as the large and go bigger with making larger pads for xl and xxl

These are the best dog pads. They smell great and the urine turns to gel so there is no spilling when you are ready to put in the garbage. I also love the size of these. He can get a lot of use out of one pad because he's small. I've written reviews on this before. Best pad on the market.

These pads work really well for our dog. They are very absorbent and I haven't had any issues with leaks. The lavender scent is a nice touch because it actually helps mask the odor instead of just mixing with it. They stay in place pretty well too. Will definitely keep buying this brand.

As a owner of multiple older dogs, these are the best pads i have come across ! No puddles and no offensive smell. The lavender scent is a pleasant surprise and not overwhelming. i would definitely recommend these pads to anyone with older dogs !

absorbent, fragrant...Hartz is a good brand. Have used the products for canaries, parakeets, turtles. This was when I was in my teens and lived with mother. Now I use products for my pets. In my 70's.

A little more pricey than the cheep pee pads, but for what it's worth, I would never use the “standard” pee pads ever again. Super absorbent and does not leak at all. Would totally recommend.

It absorbed most of the urine. There was some leakage on the floor. Didn't notice any holes. But when I went in to change the pad I noticed the floor underneath was wetness on the floor. It has happened a few times.

These are a total waste of money! I don't like leaving bad reviews but in this case others need to know. These are nasty worthless pads. NOT what they advertise. I have 5 small rescue chihuahuas and God forbid someone should try to use these for a bigger dog. If you don't pick them up the minute your dog goes on them your floors will be a nightmare as mine are. I literally had to mop after every single use as they leak onto the floor within minutes after use. I am so disgusted as my floors are now ruined because of these horrible useless pads and it smells like a zoo. I can't live like this. You get what you pay for. I will be working harder to pay for more expensive pads that actually work and don't leak. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND these pads. If you buy them good luck to you. I now have to replace all my floors because of them! NOT a happy camper.

The absorption layer is not evenly distributed through the puppy pad. See attached picture of a puppy pad I just took out of the package. You can see where the absorption layer is gathered and not evenly distributed.
