My dog plays a lot this time of the year to burn off excess energy. The product is easy to apply to her and it doesn't have a chemical smell that other collars have The collar has a dual buckle for enhanced strength in staying on the neck.. At first my dog didn't like it because the scent might be a bit too overwhelming for her. She tried to get it off of her without success. 10 mins later, she was fine and playing in the yard without any itching or scratching at all. As the weather started to warm up, I feel very comfortable letting her playing more in the yard without any problems. It fits really well, and is a perfect size for any size dog since it adjusts. It keeps the fleas off her, she has not been scratching at all. I love that it works for up to 6 months. It stays securely fastened because it has a dual hook up on it to keep it on and stays on. I love that it is water resistant because my dog loves to play in the water, puddles, pool, rain, ...especially in the summertime; its the best time to have a water resistant flea collar for protection. It is very soft and flexible so its not intrusive to my dog. It is very lightweight and comfortable on her, she doesn't even notice it being there. Itching subsided and evidence of fleas have almost completely disappeared. This has been an effective product for my pup. I will be using on all my dogs. . Thankfully, upon opening the package, the scent isn't too harsh and over powdery like competitors do. I applied the color on my medium size dog, she starting scratching and getting the meds to spread onto her skin. Being is Southeastern Kentucky, fleas & ticks are very brutal already this time of year. I've not seen any of either on her yet and I check very frequently. She didn't have any fleas before using and Hartz has helped keep them off for the summer. I'm thankful for this dainty little Flea collar and 10/10 recommend. received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I've been hearing that we're having a particularly bad 'flea year' here in Oregon. So, that is Exactly why I bought these flea collars. I use flea drops monthly but that wasn't quite cutting it and I thought that adding the additional protection of these collars would help my dogs to be comfortable again. But they're not. I even went so far as to put the cut off ends of these collars under the blankets in their beds. It hasn't helped. I wouldn't buy these collars again...
