Hasbro HSBG2953 Beat the Heat Card Game

Beat the Heat card game is easy to learn and fun to play, up to 10 people. Not very many games allow for that many people. We wanted this game to play while camping at Wallowa Lake. Appreciated the La Grand associate who took my call in electronics and went to look in the game section to verify it was in store, because I couldn't confirm online. And, we believe stopping to buy this game may have prevented us from being involved in the fatal accident just down the road. We walked out of the store to sirens and emergency vehicles racing that way. If we hadn't stop we could have been in that area at the time of accident. Thankful we weren't. Sad that a young man lost his life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun game. We absolutely love this in our house. The instructions are easy to understand and it is very fun to play. It can be played with 2 players but we felt it is more fun if you have 3 - 4 players. The setup is jot elaborate so it can be a very quick game .. I wish the outer packaging was a little different so the storage could be easier.

Took a little bit to get the hang of it but it was great, it helped my 7 year old with higher lower numbers and it engaged us throughout dinner and thereafter! The bright colors and peppers really make it fun! It is going in our list of games to play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to read the directions twice in order to understand how to play the game and look back a couple times but that's totally normal for first time play! This game is actually a lot of fun! My husband and I have a lot of laughs playing this and I get quite competitive while playing. I love how it makes you think, you never know what card your competitor is going to put down, so that makes the game exciting. The cards are durable material, they are very colorful and cool looking. I really love this game and look forward to introducing it to others in the future.

By the end of the night the living room was a disaster Definitely our new go-to for game night. Huge win. Highly recommend for families who love a little chaos and a lot of fun!

And although it can be quick, strategy forces one to stop and think, is this the right card? Everything is of great quality and would be a great value, one to last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beat the Heat is a hit with our family. It's a strategic (with some luck) card game for ages 8+. The game is played similarly to Take 5. We found Beat the Heat to be fast paced, fun, and accommodating to all ages in our family from our 9 year old to our 15 year old, as well as the adults in play. I love that multiple players can join in (2-10 players specifically!). If you are looking for something quick and light for a game night, in between ball games on a tournament day, or while camping- Beat the Heat is your game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beat the Heat was a hit in my house. Nothing beats a card game that can be played at home or easily brought in a bag for fun on the go. The cards are good enough quality that they don't get bent easily. I like that it is easy to learn, family friendly, and fun for any age. Our group ranged from age 4 to 32 and everyone enjoyed it.
