We both liked playing the game together we would both play for hours
This was one of my favorite games as a child. My granddaughter loves to play video games. I don't like video games. I bought her this for a birthday present and she loves it. The family can play it together or she can play it with her friends or even by herself. A must have for any child.
I recieved the Simon Swipes game from Hasbro for free to try out and make honest reports on. I got it 3 days ago and over the weekend my 8 yr old grandson has played with it very frequently. After school, he hurried and got his homework done and went straight for the game again. He just loves it. I highly recommend this game, it keeps the kids intertained and also helps them to use their hand/eye coordination.
Warning, this game is highly addictive! For those that don't know what it is this game is very similar to the old Simon game but with a few twists. It is designed to be held in your hands instead of set on a table and there are some variations to the old push the button game. I got this game for free from Hasbro so I let the kids have it as an early Christmas present/distraction. My 3-year-old wants to play with it as soon as he gets up every day and my 6-year-old wants it the minute she gets off the bus. I frequently have to hide the game during meals and bath times. Once the kids are in bed, out it comes so mom and dad can play with it. The multiplayer mode allows the kids to play with it in the back seat and the volume button is every driver's dream! The game practically forces your kids to sit still and concentrate. I recently took it with us to a family party and it never got a break the entire night. Everyone there from 3 to 86 years old played and competed with each other often with hilarious results!
Let's all admit that Simon has always been a great, fun game to play, but now it's even better than before! Simon Swipe brings the original joyous fun of Simon with new challenges. My children absolutely love this game especially because of the exciting sounds and lights. I have to point out that I am a fan of this game because it tests and improves your child's memory skills and attention span. Also, another great thing about the new and improved Simon (Simon Swipe) is the fact that it rests comfortable in your hands unlike the original bulkier Simon. There's really so much to say about this game knowing that not only is it fun and addicting but it can be very educational in the sense that it exercises your brains. People of all ages can and will enjoy this! Highly recommended! I was lucky enough to receive Simon Swipe, along with a few other Hasbro products for free as part of a promotion and I couldn't be more thankful! I do have to provide you with a fair warning though, as stated before this game is highly addicting!! Have fun playing!
Gr8 upgrade to an already fun product! Easy to hold, just enough challenge to play it using tap and swipe and reverse swipe!
I liked this toy because kids have to concentrate and focus in order to follow the game.
I remember having the original Simon game as a child which we played for years and years as children, and the new Swipe edition is even more fun and challenging.Simon is a game of sequencing in which you have to match Simon's moves with the basic element of challenging your memory. The game takes batteries but, they are included, so all you have to do is reset the game from demo mode to play mode and you're ready to go. When we received the new Simon Swipe through #bzzagent as a free gift ,my husband was more excited than my kids. You can choose between 1-4 modes ,there is a class mode, party mode, level game, and extreme game. All these four are fun and challenging. The quality of material is good and Loved the bright colored lights and the new electronic sounds.Only problem I found is that my little one finds it difficult to follow the rules.
The packaging for this toy says it is for ages 8 and up. My eldest is 6, and she did have some trouble getting the hang of this toy. It is difficult to tell when you're supposed to swipe versus just tap the color. Once she did figure it out though, we also noticed that it can be played by a single player or a group. The game is pretty loud and even though we tried adjusting the volume, we did not hear a difference in volume. We also had problems with the power button. It turns on just fine and quickly, but when it was time to turn it off, we had to try shutting it off several times before it actually shut down. The toy comes with demo batteries which is nice since it saved us the hassle of having to hunt down batteries ourselves. After the kids went to bed, my husband and I tried playing and had fun. Based on our experience, I feel this toy is appropriate for older kids/groups. I am a BzzAgent and received this item as part of a campaign. #GotItFree #HasbroGamingGift
This Simon game is used and has filth all over it…like spilled food. I am asking for my money back. I want my money back!
