This Star Wars The Force Awakens Kylo Ren Extendable Lightsaber is a sturdy and dependable plastic toy that can really take a beating. It has a grey and black hilt with authentic movie quality design, and an extendable red cross blade made of thick heavy duty plastic. My only complaint about this Lightsaber is the lack of a piece of plastic on the hilt that can attach onto a belt for more authentic battle and play. All in all, I would definitely recommend this Lightsaber and look forward to many years of awesome Starwars play with it.

My 11 year and my 6 year old both love playing with this lightsaber. Works well and the price is great.

My nine year old researched this product. He didn't want an electronic light saber that didn't collapse. This was his top pick and it is part of the connecting light saber series so you can put two blades together. He has been very happy with it and we were happier with the cheaper price online. We picked it up in store with no shipping which was a win for everyone.

I bought this for my 4 year old some. So about 3 weeks in, he still loves his lightsaber. In order for the side to come out you have to swing it pretty hard. It took a little practice, but soon enough he got it.

Our grandson loves it. I gave a couple to my nephews last Christmas & they still continue to play with it. I would recommend buying two so you can actually duel with each other. Good quality & I haven't had one break yet.

I got this as a gift because I am a huge Star Wars fan and I am only 12 but if you are getting this for a child then they won't care that they have to pull the sides out because I sure didn't mind and so get it for a child if you were thinking about it

As I wrote on another lightsaber product, what do you expect from a $12 toy? It is, in fact, very sturdy, and it is well worth the low-cost investment. As a child I much preferred this style to the electric ones, and minor complaints such as the sides not popping out by themselves is just petty. A kid will not mind. It is exactly what it says it is and trust me, it is a solid product.

Bought this lightsaber to decorate my son's Star Wars themed bedroom. He just wont stop playing with this thing!!!

I bought this for my 5 yr old son and he loves it. The quality is good, the red plastic of the blade is very sturdy and is holding up well with the kind of play this toy is designed for. The only thing I would like to note is that the 2 smaller blades on the side do not pop out on there own when the large blade is extended, the trick we found is at that when the large blade is fully extended you need to give it a little tug/pull with your hand at the very base of the large blade and the smaller ones will pop out.

I got this for a friend of mine's boy's birthday. He loves Star Wars. It was reasonably priced. I paid about $13 when I bought it. It doesn't light up which would make it much more awesome. Sometimes it's hard to pull the sword out (if it happens to get stuck). Just swing the sword and it should pop out. You can push it back down into the handle for better storage. I recommend this for play time. If you're too rough with it, I believe it will break, as it's hard plastic; nothing too fancy. It does the job for him though!
