I bought this game as a present for my nephew who was turning 8. He and his older 10 year old brother, spent a morning playing it and had a fantastic time. They even did 'voices', depending upon which Minion they were. Definitely, if you have a child that is enthusiastic about Despicable Me, this is a perfect gift. Very happy with my purchase!
There is a game specific piece that functions differently than others and the game play is classic terrible with this exception ands of course the cute minions.
My kids (3 and 6) love this game. They ask me every week if we can play it. I like the twist of whoever has siren Bob cannot be sent home.
I bought this for my kids because they don't like the original one. Now they love this game and I can introduce them to the original game and double trouble too I I still own .
This game marries all the fun of classical trouble with a minion twist. A little expensive considering how cheaply the board is made. It's flimsy, moves around a lot, the pieces get knocked off the board easily, and the die popper is constantly bouncing out of it's area knocking the board around and disturbing the pieces. But the kids and I fell in love with it from game 1.
christmas present and has been played steady. thought the game board would be a bit bigger, but its ok.
Fun game but not nearly as well made as the original trouble game. It's just a flat piece of cardboard with a picture on it. No slots to hold moving pieces and the dice popper is not even connected. Not worth the asking price. Maybe valued at $10 or less.
The game pieces are cute, we love minions in our home. The rules are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. My only negative remark is that the pop dome thing with this dice it really hard to press down, especially for a child. My son it 4 and even I myself had to press down hard for the thing to work. Other than that its a nice game.
Very flimsy compared to older game.
I was expecting the usual clear plastic game board with the die built in to the bubble in the middle. But this entire game was cardboard and the bubble with the die was separate and equally as cheap. Such a disappointment. I'm returning it.
