Got this on sale. My daughter loves it so much. I bought another one as a birthday gift to her friend, so they can play together.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Hatchimal babies are adorable. We love ours and cannot wait to buy another baby. My 6 year old spends so much time playing with hers. They are really easy to help hatch. Plus they make adorable noises. My daughter loves when her baby is hungry so she can feed it. It is a great interactive toy. I am so happy I was chosen to receive this at no cost to me in exchange for my honest thoughts and review. We are definitely buying another one!

The little brush and accessories it came with was a nice touch. My kids got a big kick going through the process as a family, and us parents did too. We love it!!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After hearing some reviews of other alike products, I did not really have high expectations. Boy was I wrong. This cute little baby if full of surprises! The instructions were very easy to follow. The Hatchamal hatched quicker than expected. The kids loved watching, and waiting. This particular product was to be a surprise whether it was a boy or girl, and my kids LOVED waiting to see which it would be. Once hatched, it kept getting better. She sings, dances, makes animal noises, copies what you say, and sleeps. You can tell when she is hungry, when she is sad, angry, and happy. I like the booklet that comes with her that lets you know what mood it's in and what to do to make it happy. It comes with little accessories (bottle, rattle, and toy) that makes it do things and puts it in different moods. It also comes with an off switch so it won't run the batteries down! This toy is hours of entertainment and joy!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Upon opening the Hatchimal Hatchibaby, The eggs was very colorful and actually pretty neat to see. Little ones need help opening package and setting up to hatch. Its kinda tough. The egg is pretty decent size. When . waiting to hatch, you have to interact with it for quite some time. It goes to sleep a lot. Total I think it took 45 minutes to hatch. The egg itself when hatching. it also neat to watch. Then it peels off quite easily. Littler children will need help setting it up because even my 9 year old was confused figuring it out and thought it was kind of difficult and had to reread instructions a few times. It is an interactive toy. Like figuring out its cues for different things. My daughter think it was fun and loved the colorful Hatchimal. She played with it for a few days and hasn't again really. As far as value in the overall toy,price and will my child play with it over and over, My opinion is not super impressed. I think its too much to spend on a little kid for it not to be played with.Hatching was neat, but not neat enough for the price. After hatching they are waiting on cues that , for younger kids might be hard to figure out. But overall it was neat to see and very colorful and exciting to see what you get. Not sure I would recommend to everyone. Maybe for 4 yr olds with lots of parent help to show them how to get it to interact correctly.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I applied for this opportunity because my 10 year old daughter is a huge fan of the CollEGGtibles. Last Christmas it was such a hot item for the year we decided to wait and see how the response was to the original full size Hatchimal. Of course she wanted one, badly, but my husband and I did not see any further value or entertainment in the product after the egg actually hatched. So when I saw this chance at something new and much more interactive I had to apply (plus it helped that it arrived the week of her birthday). The hatching process took approximately 32 (minutes give or take). Even my 6 year old son was very excited to be involved, which was a huge surprise because he has been diagnosed high spectrum ADHD, but from the time I pulled the piece out of the bottom and the egg came to life within his shell my son was hooked! I would purchase this product again, but the next one would be for my son. My only concern was after a few days my daughter did start to run out of ideas, but she's still trying different things.

I ordered this for a Christmas present for my granddaughter. Apparently it was a return and it was missing parts and already hatched. Walmart needs to check its returns more carefully. Its Christmas morning and I have a crying grandchild
