This set of kittens/peacocks were the best!!! My daughter fell in love with them!!!!! She owns a hachimal from the first series that came out and the whole twin thing totally blew the last ones away!!!! Even though the last ones were cool too! Just not as awesome as the twins!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter was beyond excited when she got this Hatchimal egg. When it started to 'hatch' I thought she'd have a heart attack...she lost control with excitement! I didn't tell her there were two so when she got 'twins' she was ecstatic. She is completely preoccupied with all the lights and sounds they make and the things they do (like dance, etc). She told me specifically that having the twins was way better than getting just one b/c they interact with each other and are more fun. I don't know how I'm going to convince her that these can't go to school...lol. A perfect gift for a little girl!! One quick tip, when it hatches, the little pieces of egg can get everywhere so avoid having it hatch on a rug, hard wood or tile is much better for this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 and 4 year old daughters think this deserves 20 stars, not just 5!! They were so excited to get the surprise Hatchimal and were even more exited when they guessed from the box that there were twins inside... one for each of them! The hatching process was quick and the girls were so happy as they watched the Hatchimals poke out of their shells. Clean up was easy too - it didn't break into many small pieces. Now my 7 year old uses the "cheat sheet" with her sister to figure out what their Hatchimala want based on their eye color. It's really fun that they each have their own and that they can play with them together. It's a great bonding toy and they think it's so fun!
We got the peacats for our daughters 5th birthday and they are the perfect gift. She loves them! She has her whole class wanting a Hatchimal.
great toy, absurd price. very fun to play with, way overpriced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a long time since I've seen my 5 year old so excited about a toy. It was such a delight to watch her literally vibrate with excitement as she held the Hatchimals egg for the first time and we heard sounds and saw lights coming from the egg. When the egg started to crack she was so excited that she almost dropped it. She was thrilled that there were twin animals and she actually shared with her older brother. The two of them nurtured the Peacats together and it was the cutest thing! The Hatchimals were such a hit with these kids – I can't recommend them highly enough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter went nuts when she saw there were TWO hatchimals inside this egg! It took less time to hatch than her original hatichimal which meant playing sooner! The approximately 6 inch tall twins are completely different . One moved its head side to side, one moves up and down. The eyes have different meaning depending on which twin it is. The wings move, the head moves. They actually seem to have distinct personalities! In the words of my 7 year old. These are the cutest things that I have ever seen! She actually needed to eat dinner with them
I bought these little Peacat Hatchimals fir my Granddaughter this Christmas, they were so much fun hatching them, make sure you read the directions on the process 1st so you can experience all it does while hatching,we got the Peacat Twins,my Granddaughter loves them!
I'll make this a simple and quick review. My kids love it. Here are the pros and cons of this new hatchimal twins. Pros: - 2 hatchimals for the price of almost one with paying about $10 more - each hatchimal has its own personality and what it's capable of doing - hatchimals can communicate with each other, much more interactive than the original Cons: - wings keep falling off, even though it's a quick clip back in, it falls off constantly if picked up the wrong way - hatchimals do not move/mobile like the original, one twin rocks back and forth the other just sits there and is hollow underneath - hatchimals seem a bit tinier and little fragile then the original I honestly don't see the hype in this toy, but my kids love it. I would recommend to buy this if they did fix the flaws of the wings easily falling off, otherwise forget about it if you have two tiny tots.
I got a hatchimal surprise for Christmas. I think they age too fast, when they entered kid stage twin B beeped twice then shut off. I returned them to the store and bought another. Once that one entered kid stage it did the same thing. I gave it some rest but that did not work. My brother got one too ( it was a giraven hatchimal) it did the same thing as mine by beeping and shutting off. They don't work and break very easy. I don't think they are worth the price. :(
