Hathaway Enforcer Air Hockey Table, 5.5-ft, Blue/Black

So far I am very happy I picked this size bc it was perfect for the area I had. Everything is great! Having a blast with this toy!

Decent quality for price. Fairly easy to assemble. Would be 5 stars if air flow was a bit stronger- puck doesn't “hover as much as kids would like. My 10 and 13 yo boys play.

This is the largest table I could find for the money. It is a very nice size for children or adults. To go larger, you pretty much have to jump from $200 to $500. It is a decent size for a rec room. I found two problems with it. One of the goals had the electronic eye set a bit high for the automatic scoring. The puck more often than not snuck under the beam. This was pretty much curable by some "manual reshaping". However, it would have been nice if there was an actual height adjustment built in for the electronic eye. But the main design flaw is in the width of the cut out mouth of the goal. If a player positions their pusher against the center of the goal, they cannot be scored upon. I am debating on sending away for the smaller 2 inch puck which will help a bit. I'm not sure how well a two inch puck will work on this table. I would cut the goal mouth wider myself as the plastic goal cage would accommodate this, but that would then interfere with the electronic eye bracket. I guess one must make the rule of not holding the pusher back against the goal mouth.

It is all made of carboard even the legs. Cheap made. It is easy installation. The score device does NOT record every goal. That is a disappointment. We will see how long it will last.

The electronic scorer arrived broken and unusable. Customer service is closed. This was for Christmas and I imagine I won't be able to get this resolved until after that. For something costing nearly $200 that is unacceptable.
