This is a gorgeous rug and it exceeded my expectations. The rug has a higher pile, which I personally prefer because it gives it more weight, cushion, and a high-quality feel. It's incredibly soft underfoot and feels plush and inviting. Once unrolled, it laid flat with very little effort, which is always appreciated. I already had a rug pad, and together they make the rug extremely comfortable—perfect for sitting or playing on the floor.
