It's quick and serves up great shaved ice for drinks, smoothies, and even a refeshing treat for the dog on a hot day! Two things to keep in mind: 1) It's pretty loud. But it works fast, so not loud for long! 2) You MUST use the two included ice molds. It will NOT work with regular ice cubes. You also need to dump out the leftover ice bits before you put in the second chunk of ice from the ice mold, or it won't work. All said, it's definitely great and a fine purchase.
cute and easy to use. I use cubes from my ice maker rather than making ice discs. Been making adult beverage shaved ice! Can't wait for summer and some ice cold snow cones!
We love this little machine! My kids use it on their own with no problems. Highly recommend storing up a stash of the ice pucks. It takes 1 whole puck per person so if you don't store up extra you can only make 2.
Super easy to assemble and use! Used the ice trays it came with and it was easy, a little loud but works super fast!!
well I haven't used it that long but I really like it but it's a little short you can't actually get a glass under there to put ice in your glass you have to put it in something else and then scoop it out into your glass so that was a little disappointing
I got this for our family and we like it but it makes so little. You get 2 freezer containers to make the ice blocks but for the size one ice block is enough for a small cup for one person and we were having issues with the ice blocks getting stuck too. My suggestion is ordering more blocks to freeze ahead of time or take them out to freeze more for later
I thought since the brand was well known that the ice would be shaved better but it was just crushed not shaved and I prefer a shaved ice for sno cones it was like sleet cones
I was expecting a snow like consistency from this ice shaver. instead it was chunky and more like crushed ice than shaved. I tried adjusting the blade but it was already at it's lowest setting.... I am fairly disappointed.
Description stated that it made soft fluffy shaved ice. It was just the same crunchy ice that any cheap snow cone maker does. A Ninja blender is far superior in making soft ice.
Yes, I know I bought a small Hawaiian shaved maker but maker butt i thought it would be a little better than this one yes, I recommend anybody not to buy this one. It might look cool might look fun, but yes, no good.
