Hawaiian Tropic Skin Defense Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, 6oz

Does not leave a residue and scent is not overwhelming. I have vitiligo and put lotion on skin atleast twice a day for normal wear and has prevented sun damage especially on my unpigmented areas. My skin is very sensitive but to this day have not had issues with this lotion. I also use the mist and works great.

The consistency is not like most sunscreens - it is more like an everyday lotion and is not runny. It's not too thick, easy to apply, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I have noticed it is super smooth and never leaves a heavy or greasy film. I like that is moisturizes well and the antioxidant factor is a major plus! It provides great SPF coverage and lasted a long time in the sun. I would even venture to say it holds up well against sweat. This sunscreen makes me want to incorporate it into my daily routine. This sunscreen is a keeper and definitely worth checking out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen! It smells like coconut (my fave!) and it takes me back to Hawaii whenever I crack open the lid on the bottle. It's the Hawaiian Tropic AntiOxidant + Sunscreen Lotion. It's SPF 30 with UVA & UVB protection and it's made with Green Tea Extract. First of all the packaging is really pretty. I love the mixture of the tan and purple together. And the bottle has a nice, smooth texture. It has a nice light coconut scent which isn't too strong or too sweet. It also blends into my skin really easily! I hate when sunscreens don't blend out well. I felt that it did a good job of protecting me from the sun all while keeping my skin moisturized. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant sunscreen. I usually have to use a different sunscreen for my face than the rear of my body but it was lightweight enough to use everywhere! It felt smooth going onto my skin and soaked in easily just like regular lotion. It also smells amazing as an added bonus! I went swimming in a pool in 90 degree heat about 10 minutes after I put it on and I forgot I even had sunscreen on...I didn't feel any residue or burning from it getting into my eyes (two of my biggest pet peeves). I reapplied once about an hour and a half later in areas I tend to burn more frequently and I woke up this morning with no burn and a slight gut Golden Brown tan. I highly recommend this sunscreen to anyone!

It is easy to spread onto my skin and doesn't make my clothes turn white like other sunscreens I have used in the past. I like how it has antioxidants in it too. It is super lightweight and not sticky at all. I've been taking it everywhere with me-great alternative to my regular sunscreen. Highly recommend!

The Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant Plus Sunscreen Lotion is my new go-to due to how quickly it absorbs & the silky smooth feeling I'm left with; just like freshly moisturized skin without the heavy sunscreen sent. The green tea extract may be what gives this sunscreen a more pleasant/light scent. You don't smell like a walking bottle of sunscreen when using this, nor do you look shiny/greasy as you can with some other products. While all of that is important, the protection factor is critical, & I have used this while swimming, working outside in the heat & humidity, & just riding around in the Jeep. I have not suffered a single sunburn with this use, but the SPF 30 still allows me to get a bit of a tan. This protect is fantastic & airline checked bag friendly, so it is headed to Barbados soon with me!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hawaiian Tropic Anti Oxidant+ sunscreen lotion may just be my new favorite choice for sun protection. First, the bottle has a flip top lid that is easy to open with one hand. The sunscreen itself is lightweight and more liquidy than thick. When applied, it smooths into my skin just like lotion and actually makes my skin feel moisturized. It dries quickly and there is no sticky residue. Finally, there is a nice light coconut fragrance that makes you feel like you're at the beach. In terms of sun protection, the bottle is SPF 30 and I would say it works about as well as other SPF 30 sunscreens. I applied it according to the bottle instructions and had about the same protection I would with another SPF 30. To summarize, this sunscreen had solid sun protection with the added bonus of being easy to apply, feeling great on my skin, and smelling wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To me, Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant Plus Sunscreen is your classic and traditional sunscreen. Before you purchase I would note that this smells like regular sunscreen (which I personally don't mind- but doesn't smell like tea or fruit) and goes on like lotion. I typically purchase sunscreen spray because I think it is easier to apply than lotion however would recommend this sunscreen if you have dry skin and need the extra moisture of a lotion. I will be using now because my skim is still so dry from Chicago wintertime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I tried Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, I was familiar with a brand. I used a couple of times, mostly borrows from my friends on the beach. However; I have never heard of a new product and formula. The new Hawaiian Tropic smells fantastic, very delicate scent which could replace your summer fragrance when you go to the beach. The sunscreen has a formula, infused with mango, guava, papaya, and passion fruit, which is the best tropical cocktail you can ever imagine. To be honest; as with every new sunscreen, I was skeptical about trying this product. I figured it would be like everything else, very heavy and greasy formula. I was nicely surprised how delicate its this product. It`s effortless to apply with a lightweight texture, and it still feels fresh after a long outdoor exercise or enjoying your time at the beach. Moreover, a product has a squeeze tube and comes out quickly. The additional benefit; especially when you live in the climate full of humidity and insects which bite you regularly, the new antioxidant sunscreen helps prevent long-term skin damage. The only thing I regret that this sunscreen doesn`t have a higher filter, especially the cream absorbs really well, and I like to use it on my face. Summarizing, I love how Hawaiian Tropic protects my skin and still smells like a tropical island. Highly recommended and still waiting for a higher filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SPF! I want it in 50+! I loved this product. It doesn't make you look greasy or feel too heavy. My cousin and I both wore this on our faces and neither of us had any breakouts after using this product. I attached a picture so you can see how little spf shine we have! As a redhead I'm very familiar with sunscreen and this one is a good one! I just wish it had more spf so I didn't have to worry about getting burnt. After I came in from the lake and showered that my complexion was clearer and brighter than before going out. I really think it was the sunscreen working it's magic! I'll be using this again during times when I feel like 30 will work (aka not out on the water.) Added bonus, it smells great!
