I had to leave a review because these are more expensive than other Slow feeder nets but when I started to read that people had to repair other nets I think these end up costing less in the long run. I have 2 small , one 1/2 bale ( best size) and 1 full bale ( too big and heavy to manage to ‘ hang' for a 5.1' woman and if left on the ground - mud! Prob would work in a trough though) . Anyway I have had them for 3 years and have hangry rough horses / mares ! No holes yet .
Bought this slow feed hay net after reading reviews of several different hay nets, and chose this one because it is advertised as good for aggressive eaters. After a month of use my mare has not yet torn a hole in it, and it's pretty easy to fill and hang. I estimate it holds 2 to 3 flakes of hay.
Great quality and love the snap. So easy to fill and hang in trailer! I have bought so many different hay bags and this is by far the best. Love it.
You can never have too many Hay Chix nets. Their ease of use, closure method, and extreme durability are the best of all hay nets. We still have our first one from 5 years ago, and it's in perfect shape. Hang multiples around the paddock to encourage movement. Great purchase!
Easy to fill and hang. My horses took to it immediately even though I have never used hay nets. I only wish I had bought the smaller sized holes right away.
I bought this about a month ago and I am so happy I did. It is so easy to filll compared to other bags and the plus side it has a clip on the other end instead of tying it you just clip it on to the stall or trailer. Sooooo NICE
Hay Chix HQ is located in the next town over from me, so maybe I am biased, but these nets are fantastic. I love the hanging ease, they open wide and are easy to load, and I love the hoggle tie closure. The nets so far are very sturdy even out in the weather (I feed all of my hay netted) and seem to be lasting really well. The only problem is that I want to replace every net I own with a Hay Chix!
I purchased these nets about a month ago and am totally sold on these. They are easy to fill, easy to manage and I love that I can throw them on the ground (none of the horses here are shod) and let them eat in a natural position.
I have used several nets this one is sturdy easy to load and my horses and donkeys prefer this one over the others. Slowly replacing my nets to hay chix
I have only been using this for about a week,so I cannot say how durable it is. I got this for my over weight mare to slow down her eating. I was using a slow feed net with slightly larger holes and it was not working so I got this one. It seems to be working so far.
