Hayward Ultra-High Efficiency Pool Pump, 2.25HP, Steel, Multiple Speeds, Quiet, Black/Gold

I use it to replace a worn-out motor, which couldn't do its job anymore. The new one does come with a warranty, just wanted to get that out of the way. The installation was compatible with the old motor, which made everything a lot easier, and took less time to get it running. I'm very satisfied with this product, and haven't any issues from my purchase to installation.

I ordered the pool pump. And received it. Within three days. It was an easy switch out. It is 100% more quiet then our previous. Setting it up was a breeze. Dohenys Had the best price around.

I had a Hayward 1.5 hp Superpump that started making too much noise. It needed new bearings. I decided to buy a new one and went to a 2.25hp pump with adjustable speeds. What a difference! The pool water is super clear and whatever falls into the pool gets quickly pushed into the skimmers. You have to set the speeds that you want it to run on. Theres YouTube videos explaining the process. Pretty easy to do if you ask me. Doheny's always makes it easy to buy and ship the products that i buy from them. The pump was here in two days. Very helpful when a week without a pool pump will force you to maybe have to shock your pool and use your net and brush often. I highly recommend Doheny's and would buy again!!!

The Hayward Super Pump XE works great, pool nice and clear. I replaced a single speed pump. I have only had it for less than two weeks, so I don't have the electric savings yet. It is very easy to program, I can't wait to see my savings, I am running it for 4 hours at 80% speed and 8 hours on 50% speed. The third interval which is 12 hours, it is off. Doheney's delivered very quickly, had the best price and the Pump arrived undamaged.

I used the Hayward XE pump for my in-ground jacuzzi. With the built-in 3-speed selector it provides great choices for jet power. Was easy to install due to standard pipe-fittings and is quiet. Exceptional value and a much better choice than Pentair alternatives

Product works great, we installed which was easy and we have purchased other products as well. Everything delivered on schedule, tech support answered all our question's. Very good company to deal with!!

The programming instruction left me somewhat confused. Fortunately the pool guy knew how to program it and showed me. It's relatively simple once you know what to do.

The motor installation was straight forward and easy to install. However, the motor is a little nosier than expected. It would also be nice if there was a setting allowing the use of an external timer to control the motor with a constant speed. I replaced my old Hayward Super Pump with this one which has a slightly higher HP rating 1.65 versus 1.5 for the old pump. I will definitely purchase from Doheny's again since their rep provided outstanding information and service.

Doheny's sent me a returned pump. My contractor installed it. When I called Doheny's, they said they could not do anything about it. They finally said I needed to return the one I got and they would replace it. I would have had to get my installer to remove it and figure out how to package it to get it back. They should not have sent a returned item without letting me know. They charged me as if it was now. No future business with them.
