our old pump gave out after 20 years of service on our pool. had to go with the the same pump again. hopefully we will have the same results.

It doesnt hava a power switch, which should have been in the description. I felt like the cost was alot, but I was in a pinch and needed it by a certain time and they got it to me quicker than anyone else could.

I am using it but it was listed with a six foot cord but only had a three ft cord. Had to take it to get a new cord. Also has no shut off switch on the pump, making it tough to backwash.

the description said the cord was 6'. it was half that size. i returned it.

Inspect for cracks before installing
I was very happy with the speedy shipment. Once I had it installed, it was not purging air and leaking slightly. I found there were 2 cracks in the housing. The box it came in was undamaged, so it must have been a manufacturing defect. Hayward did send a replacement, which made me very happy.
